Kickback Jacks Greensboro - Highwoods

We ordered on the patio which we know now is the land of the forgotten. We ordered cheese fries as an appetizer and received them with no plates to share and we asked twice which took 9 minutes so they were cold and we did not eat them, a garden salad was ordered as my entree that never arrived. When we brought this to the servers attention we were met with a combative disposition as she told us the manger would not be doing anything about it. The manager arrived and did take the salad off as it was never received but he felt 9 minutes was adequate time to wait on plates and ranch dressing. Me and my husband are both very busy and we entertain a lot but our days at Kick Back Jacks are over as I have never been treated as such an afterthought as we were today.

Had a retirement party last week, great food and nice atmosphere but what made it was our server Kari. This young lady has it wired! Super attentive without being over whelming, friendly and very sweet. She handled our group very professionally. I’ll go back just for her!

I ordered lunch here Today I didn't know the pasta I wanted changed on the menu so I got the wrong pasta BC they have a new one added!! The lady was very nice and remade the order for me and I appreciate her so.much BC I was so hungry lol.!!! So Great service Lava was her name !!

We ordered burger platters. They were not seasoned well, at all. The fried had waaaaay too much salt on them. Since this location opened I've been a few(4) times and this was the only time my order was prepared correctly, but it was not good. Battleground just might have them beat. **The server was fine, no beefs with her**

Awesome place! Great atmosphere and the food was incredible! Our waitress was absolutely amazing and very attentive to our needs! I'll definitely be back ☺️

I did a pickup tonight at around 10:30pm and the person working the area was sitting down with a visitor. When she came to help I asked her a question about parking and if the door was working bc I didn’t see it and was interested in leaving out that way if it was near where I parked. She looked at me like I was dumb so I repeated it. She continues to stare with no response. Then she said confirm and walked back to talk to the person she was sitting with. That was so rude and I will be contacting corporate because too many people need a job and if she is not happy with her job maybe she should find another one but rude is unacceptable especially since I’m a nice person and didn’t deserve. Do better

This place is fantastic and I always have a good time. The only thing that sucks is when people bring their children and try to have them eat for free or order multiple things and not wanting to pay for them because the kid didn’t like it. Have some class.

I strongly disagree with Shawn's recent 1 star review. KBJ has been my go-to place for years. They have the best outdoor patio in Greensboro, a spacious inside with a horseshoe bar and over 30 TVs that they preprogram to the top sports events each day. And unlike other sports bars I used to go to, they are happy and willing to change to a game of your choice if it’s not already on (which it usually is since they actually view the sports schedule daily).

Oh, and incidentally I happen to be the person whose tab was taken from in front of me and accused the bartender of putting items on my tab I didn’t order or approve of. I can attest that accusation is simply unfounded. He saw an appetizer on my tab but didn’t see me get it. The fact is I ordered them for one of my good friends who works there. I can state unequivocally there’s nothing unethical going on and if you saw the condition of the accuser, you would completely disqualify his remarks and review.

Bottom line, the staff is attentive, upbeat and have morals. The management team is awesome and tolerant (fortunately for me). The food, atmosphere and staff are all top notch, and I would highly recommend Kickbacks on Highwoods Blvd to anyone looking for the best sports bar in town.

Use to be the go-to place for dinner, however when a kid doesn’t like his food and takes one bite it should be offered to do a re make but that was not honored and when asked to take it off the bill, that was a solid no. I see why this place is always empty compared to rodys tavern down the street. Terrible customer service.

Once I realized the bartenders were putting their lunches on unsuspecting customers tabs I decided this wasn’t the place for me.

My salad and my eggrolls were probably the best. I ordered a sirlion and asked for it to be well done, it came out medium-well. I was so hungry I ate it, nobody likes sending anything back to the kitchen.
I noticed there were some cross contamination issues due to poor hygiene habits that should be addressed. Ex. Food runner in the kitchen took his phone out, sent a quick message and put it back in his pocket. Didn't wash his hands, touched his glasses/face area and continued to touch items where food would be at; customers plates, take out trays, etc.
A waitress picked up something off the floor and after throwing it away, she didnt wash her hands and continued with touching food surfaces.
There is room for improvements

Me and my parents came here for our 1st time. They had a lot of TVs! We came late so nobody was really in there but still got excellent service. We got the flat bread pizza and the spicy nachos. I loved the pizza. My parents got alcohol drinks but the nachos was ok I'm not for alot of spicy foods but overall I would come back.
