Texas tavern is terrible. It was sour. I have never experienced a worst experience there before. I don't know what is wrong but something is spoiled in this dish for it to taste so sour. I let my friend try it to make sure it wasn't my taste spuds and she couldn't even swallow it because it's sour.
My grandsons chicken tenders were hard and tough. What are yall doing there?? Not changing the grease either? Didn't look fresh.

Few things, as soon as I sat at the bar outside when I arrived a guys was ordering 3 different beverages/alcohol at one time. He was obviously
already wasted, stated he had been drinking all day. After his 2nd/3rd round I asked the bartender was she going to serve him more. She said no and didn't. My point being, does this happen often? He is a regular, they all knew him.
My question is what about him driving?? A Uber should have been called!!

Ebony was our server and she was so nice! Timed our food perfectly and gave great suggestions!

Loud as heck, which we expected on a Sunday night football Day, but this was well over the top, between the screaming fans in the restaurant, the loud commentary from the television, plus the background music that they play, and the general din of a restaurant.

Food was awful. We usually order the seafood platter or the fish and chips, but this time I ordered a burger done medium. It came out well done, and the meat was packed so tightly It might as well never have been ground in the first place. Lots of gristle. Ate one bite. Waitstaff not attentive at all. Definitely not planning to return.

So many things went wrong but I just wanted to focus on the food. I ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwich on the weekend. Let me break down what happened :

- Thinly sliced steak (as described on menu) : No. They served me ground beef

- Grilled sliced onion (as described on menu): No. They served me small diced onion cooked with ground beef

It’s straight up Sloppy Joe! You can imagine how different the quality is. I’m not a cook but if anyone asks me how Philly cheesesteak sandwich is made, I will tell them step by step. Who doesn’t know Philly cheesesteak sandwich?! I doubt they ran out of steak, I guess it’s just the cook that didn’t know or didn’t care what they were doing and there was no one in the kitchen to inspect the food before it’s served…I don’t remember that I had wrong foods/drinks served in the past but the last few months, I don’t know what’s going on but there were a few places I went to, they served wrong foods/drinks. It’s like people just hate their job so much and don’t care if they do it right or not…There are hundreds of places for you to try in Greensboro, so from now on if they give me wrong foods/drinks at any place, I will not go back!

On the website it has loaded mashed potatoes included with steak and ribs. It doesn’t say you substitute the loaded mashed potatoes for another side when you choose the side.
I reached out to the restaurant to let them know they were missing. A rude manager, Ainia, said it only comes with one side. I read to her what the website says and told her it’s in the picture as well. She was not willing to make things right so I will not spend anymore money here.

We ordered on the patio which we know now is the land of the forgotten. We ordered cheese fries as an appetizer and received them with no plates to share and we asked twice which took 9 minutes so they were cold and we did not eat them, a garden salad was ordered as my entree that never arrived. When we brought this to the servers attention we were met with a combative disposition as she told us the manger would not be doing anything about it. The manager arrived and did take the salad off as it was never received but he felt 9 minutes was adequate time to wait on plates and ranch dressing. Me and my husband are both very busy and we entertain a lot but our days at Kick Back Jacks are over as I have never been treated as such an afterthought as we were today.

Had a retirement party last week, great food and nice atmosphere but what made it was our server Kari. This young lady has it wired! Super attentive without being over whelming, friendly and very sweet. She handled our group very professionally. I’ll go back just for her!

I ordered lunch here Today I didn't know the pasta I wanted changed on the menu so I got the wrong pasta BC they have a new one added!! The lady was very nice and remade the order for me and I appreciate her so.much BC I was so hungry lol.!!! So Great service Lava was her name !!
