M&R ice cream is a great place. The ice cream is good and the wait staff great. Next door is Elm Street Grill. Absolutely outstanding food and the couple who own it are super people.
I visited the Butcher Shoppe. This was not my first time, and will continue to go back. They hav great variety of meats. They also have great ready-made food. Love their meatloaf and frozen pasta, have really good quiches, never had anything from there that wasn't good! Very good customer service!
Flame Broiler depends on the day and the staff that is there. Most of the good ones have moved on, the Gate City Butcher is amazing but fairly pricey for their product of you are use to store bought meat. Worth it! Konquer is closed, the Smoke Shop, Churchhill is super unfriendly, stay the hell away from Elm Street Grill! They take a cut of their employees tips!
