In 30 plus years I have never walked out. Today after the lunch rush stopped in for a quick late lunch. After 30 minutes we inquired about order. We were told wait staff had failed to enter into ordering system. No excuse, very slow.
I was standing in line inside of the restaurant at 02:50pm waiting on them to take my order. The guy waits until 03:01pm to inform me that the restaurant is close and he can’t take my order. Instead of taking my order since I had been standing in line for 11 minutes, him and another lady informs me that they are closed and that to come back in the morning. I have NEVER experienced such customer service. I felt discriminated against due to him taking the white lady order in front of me and insisting that he is not taking my order. I drove 45 minutes just to come to this deli just to be informed after 11 minutes of standing in line that my order would not be taken. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life.

Simple, I don't recommend... My wife and I decided to come here for lunch. We were mostly ignored, felt mostly in the way due to the way the place is set up. They have signs that say please wait to be seated but standing in that spot it took awhile for someone to seat us. The lady that did seat us we thought was going to be our server but was switched out. After placing the order we waited 40 minutes for a bagel sandwich and a Reuben. During this time Multiple people came in placed orders, received their order and left. At 50 minutes we get up to leave without receiving any food... We asked what happened to the food and they said the guy is making it now. Please understand. The food may be good... But it's can't be "wait nearly an hour while everyone around you eats" good. They had plenty of servers and staff so I know that wasn't the issue. It just felt like we were not the customers they wanted to serve. Not going to say it's a race thing, BUT the vibe in there said it was... Wasting my time says it was. So if you are a person of color. Go at your own risk. Hopefully you will have a different experience... I won't be going again.

I am reluctant to post this. I love this deli and have been a customer for over 30 years. My wife has come here much longer. Today, Feb. 8, 2025, their service was at rock bottom! From the time of order it took over 45 minutes to get us our food. We were told our ticket was misplaced. Our drinks were not offered to be refilled until we Everett preparing to leave. Only saw our waiter when he realized that we were basically abandoned 40 minutes on. The food was fine but the mood was ruined.

I have been coming to Lox, Stock & Bagel since they opened in 1977. I am also still ordering the same sandwich, the Hoboken. It's roast beef, provolone cheese, spicy mustard, and cherry peppers. All sandwiches are served with potato chips and a pickle. They do have side salads you can order too. They don't have filtered water, so I ordered a Dr Pepper; which was only $1.25. They do have bottled water. I forgot their ice tea is pretty good, too. I got there a couple of minutes before 12 and got seated in less than a couple of minutes. My food came quickly and my waitress was very efficient and nice.

A new family favorite! I had a turkey and havarti bagel sandwich . The bagel was fresh and they use sliced Boar’s head deli meat. Plenty of choices for everyone. I saw chicken pot pie soup on the menu and I’ll get that next time.
