I have an upcoming wedding 2/15/25 and was working with Maria’s as my caterer for the wedding when I suddenly could not get ahold of them anymore.
I drove 1.5 hours today to come to their storefront since I have no other way to contact them. Phone is disconnected and they just stopped responding to emails. No sign on the door saying they closed down or anything but a bunch of empty cardboard boxes sitting by the locked front door and looks pretty barebones inside. An old paper sign on the boxes saying they were short staffed on a Thursday and closing early but it’s obviously not from today. I don’t know what else to make from this other than they are going out of business and forgot to tie up loose ends with customers.

Liz at Maria’s catered a brunch for me yesterday. I can’t express what a fabulous job they did. I highly recommend them when looking for a caterer. They also have a case of takeout food and a freezer of frozen foods, when you don’t feel like cooking.I thought the prices were very good also. Maria's was recommended by a neighbor, so I decided to check it out. I was happy to see that they had some vegetarian options and bought the corn casserole which was delicious. Also brought home some chicken salad which was fine. Will shop again!

Love Maria’s! The catering is fairly priced, Ana the food is fantastic. I get the box lunches for work meetings. Also the entrees to go are lifesavers when you don’t feel like cooking. The best meals to go in town.

Debbie and her team took care of us with exceptional service with attention to every detail to make the special event simply amazing. Went in and picked up a chicken pie and bread pudding. The pie comes with gravy and the retail person announced she was going to give me one container instead of two. I found that strange, but oh well. The bread pudding was dry and tasteless. I have had better experiences with Maria’s in the past, but not today, For the price, it was disappointing.

We chose Maria’s for our daughters rehearsal dinner. First our tasting appointment was like a lavish feast. So much to try and discuss. Debbie helped the whole way in selecting the detailed menu from passing hours d’oeuvres and wine and beer through the salad and main course to a wonderful cheese cake display for dessert. Being one of the two fathers much our my attention was on price. Well that concern faded once I found what all is included or what Debbie offered to include for the dinner. She was so much wanting this to be a very special night. The day of the event I was on edge from past experiences of caterers showing up late and having an attitude of just get out of my way. This is the most professional team that arrived on time, did as they said they would do and made some last minute changes for us without an attitude. Friendly professional I would say. Many places can prepare good food but to have the staff that Maria’s has is superior. Now to the food! The hors d’ouevres were plentiful and never ran out for the cocktail hour. People came back many times to load their plates for these delicious starters of London Broil Sliders, Spanakopita and Caprese Skewers! We chose Chicken Marsala and Beef Bordelause with salad and vegetables. Their mashed potatoes are to die for! I never dreamed I’d see mashed potatoes on a menu we chose but they got raves from many of the guests! Beef was so well prepared and full flavored and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a chicken breast so full and tender! Did I say cheese cakes earlier? Creme Brûlée, Sweet Potato Crumble, New York Style and Chocolate Truffle. We all left so stuffed. Back to the workings, take down was almost by an invisible staff. So quiet and undisturbing ( here again I’ve seen some awful situations). The final bill came including the beer and wine and I just wanted to hug Debbie’s neck. I had been prepared for much more with all they did and provided. I can’t wait for the next opportunity to use Maria’s!
