MJ's Restaurant and Catering

Food was absolutely delicious as were the cocktails. We were so glad to try this place on the recommendation of our daughter who has dined there several times. Our waitress was so very accommodating to all our requests. We will definitely be back!

We hadn't been to MJ's in over a year, so it was great to return and experience it again. MJ's is a great place! The food, the service, and the overall atmosphere are all wonderful. Our server, Ruthie, was the best!

The food is always excellent but the service was slow slow slow. We waited 45 mins to get the server to the table. He said they were short handed. Also there is poison ivy growing all around the entrance and for folks that are allergic that’s dangerous. I’m not sure we’ll be back.

We loved the cozy atmosphere of our dining area especially since it was a rainy evening. Everything from the chicken & gumbo soup & garden salad to the braised beef and thick bone-in tender pork chop was just lovely. We would do it all again. And, the staff is attentive & professional. Reservation is recommended.

All of our entrees were wonderful! I had the pan-seared cod with polenta cakes - so good! It was a very generous portion so I brought part of it home. Reheated perfectly! My husband and one of our friends had the tenderloin filet entrees. Both said that they were very tasty and cooked perfectly, with one preferring Medium and the other preferring Medium Well. Our other friend really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits. The flourless chocolate cake and key lime pie were sinful! Oh, and not to forget the Apple Walnut and house salads - very fresh and tasty! We also want to give special kudos to Steven for excellent service! He was able to expertly balance bartending as well as being our server! It had to be stressful but he never let it show. We will be back!

First time experience. Had to find a nice little romantic place for my wife for our Anniversary. This place was perfect!!! Very generous portions for fine dining. The flavors are on point. Everything on the menu is amazing. Had the fried oysters appetizer and the Pork Chop entree. Huge portion of protein. The collard greens are by far the best I've had anywhere in the country in my 43 years. My wife had the Halibut(fish of the day) with crab and caramelized onion risotto and it did not disappoint. Very fresh!!! Prosecco wine was very good also. Couldnt imagine having a better experience than we did. You guys rock! Shout out to Sarah(our server) and Tad(Chef)!!! We found our new spot and will be returning very soon!!! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu items!!!

Fantastic meal and service. We got there early so it wasn't very crowded. The outdoor area looked very nice but we chose to sit inside. Our dining area was very nice. Christopher and Rachel took great care of us. We will definitely be back!

Best meal I’ve had out in a very long time. The outdoor patio was well lit and the weather beautiful. My wife and I have to eat gluten free. Finding someplace to safely eat as a celiac is hard, we were so happy to find out that the entire menu is basically gluten free as the owner is celiac. Also have gluten free bread service. The braised beef was the best I’ve ever had and the gluten free calamari was tender and well seasoned. We have def found our new date night spot. Our server Chris was pleasant as well. No notes!

Any night is a great time to go ~ but Wednesday’s are chill and dinner at the bar or on the patio make a great end to the day!

Been there hundreds of times... always a wonderful meal! Had a classic old favorite - panko and parmesan crusted chicken! Love it!

The food is always delicious and above wonderful. The service is always delightful and informative about the delightful dishes served. Such a restful pleasure to relax and enjoy here always.

MJ's is always a delight. From the innovative cocktails to the sumptuous desserts, the menu is fresh and delicious. Equally impressive is the attentive yet unobtrusive service. This is our go-to place for a perfect night out.

MJs never disappoints. In fact, it just keeps getting even better each time I dine there. The chef is so talented and his last creation was my favorite main dish ever. I had the dinner special which was a full trout with tarragon sauce and shrimp. It was incredible. It was also large enough that I'm having it at home again tonight. The cocktails, wine list and desserts are also outstanding. If you've never dined at MJ, you're missing out. Make a reservation soon so you can taste the trout special.
