I really like this place and really like their food and people but there is literally something wrong with my order every time I go. Always minor issues which is why I don’t always complain, but I feel like my order is not being read thoroughly. Wrong bagel one time, not taking off egg another. Wrong meat. I’m just not sure why this is a constant issue

Haven’t eaten yet. I will update after. We preordered 4 bagels. Two were lox bagels, most expensive item on menu (didn’t realize that until standing in store fuming). One person drove 15 minutes to get order. We all sit down to eat. No lox—and I don’t mean “too little”—I mean NONE. We tried to call. They don’t answer. Drove back, got remade bagels with lox. Still driving….two people have eaten, two waiting.
Don’t leave the lox off a lox bagel!
Edited: after finally arriving with the two new lox bagels, the two of us who had ordered agreed that they were excellent and worth the cost. It is unfortunate to have such a negative experience over a very preventable service issue.

I sincerely hate leaving bad reviews and also sincerely appreciate the owner’s response. Thank you and I do understand.
I am editing this review to a 3 overall (originally a 1 star. I don’t want to mislead—but do want people to be aware of checking orders before they leave. And as I said before, the lox bagels were excellent.

Emily from New Garden Bagel you made my day! I placed an order through doordash for the bagel chips which are amazing and you had just run out. You said that you were making fresh chips and they would be available by noon. I canceled my order so I could replace it when they would be ready. You called me to tell me. You could have just refunded the money but you took time to call and let me know. And not only that when my delivery did arrive you added a note and a delicious black and white cookie as an bonus! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and kindness. It was so appreciated!!! Emily is AMAZING! THANK YOU!

The atmosphere screams racism. After making an order my order was completed incorrectly on purpose then I was watched the entire time I ate. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, not even their service dogs.

This is THE ONLY place to go for bagels in Greensboro. We come in and grab a dozen and run. The place is usually slammed (especially on the weekends) we love the salt, everything, Pumpernickle, Asiago, sesame… and now the jalapeño! Omg Love that tiny slow burn I didn’t know a bagel might need! 😆 yum!
Delicious bagels, wide variety, and friendly folks makes this place a great choice.

Great bagels and coffee with a very kind staff, but there is a major flaw in their in-person ordering system where no ticket is printed and the order is not written down when placed. This has resulted in my order being incorrect or missing things that were paid for. Etc - last time I did not receive a tomato on my bagel as requested and paid for. Today I requested cheddar cheese and received American. Nonetheless the food is delicious and I love to support this local business, and you should too! But I did want to call attention to the inconsistency in order accuracy.
They were open Thanksgiving morning till 11:00. I'm so grateful. The staff was very nice

Although the amount of bagels they have can be overwhelming... Just go with what you know, or go outside the box. I came in today, and to my surprise they had more bagels that I could've ever thought. Anyway, I left with a bakers dozen of all the sweet bagels & maple, cinnamon sugar cream cheese. And also a breakfast bacon, egg & cheese bagel on a butter and garlic bagel...it was absolutely yummy. The other bagels will have to wait for a review/taste. I'm full from the breakfast bagel. Will definitely return if I'm ever in the area.
