ONETHIRTEEN Brewhouse and Rooftop Bar

The bar itself, in structure and design, was admirable. However, i cannot get a goddam drink. The amount of time it should take to get a beer is magnificently less than the time it takes to get a beer at this atrocity of an establishment. If i were the owner i would fear leaving my home due to the utter lack of service and care that one thirteen provides for its customers. Shame shame shame.

First time there to see a popular band. I love this place, the atmosphere is great. I love the brick and industrial feel to it. It has 3 levels with a rooftop bar. It was a beautiful night to go hangout on the rooftop and get some fresh air. Everyone seemed friendly and enjoying themselves, all age ranges. I’ll definitely go back.

I stopped in for drinks after a concert last weekend. Excellent service from my bartender Landon! ONETHIRTEEN has an amazing bar atmosphere and is very clean.

Hi, I hope all is well. My friend and I visited this rooftop on a Friday around 3:20 after work for the first time just for drinks because we saw the great reviews; however, we did not have a good experience. Our sole issue was customer service. My friend entered first and once I got there she revealed to me no one had yet greeted her but I looked past it because maybe the people who were working were upstairs. We followed the sign to go upstairs and no one was there, so I proceeded to ask for further directions from the balcony leading with “Hi, excuse me!” We were instructed to come back downstairs, where we were from the beginning, & order because no one was upstairs. Okay fine. We get back downstairs & proceed to ask questions but were given very short, single- worded answers to every question we had. The bartender was not rude; however, she displayed a very apathetic attitude towards our presence so we left & came to the Borough Market & Bar which was a very different, much more pleasant experience from the walk in. Out of the whole experience, I must give credit to the man who was walking in and asked about the music (I think he worked there) and greeted us with a smile and energy after I spoke to him. This review is not to leave a negative connotation but it is to simply shed light on the importance of customer service. A smile and simple hello changes some one’s day especially after a long day of work when you just want to laugh and drink with your homegirl. I hope Greensboro treats you all better than we were & I wish this business nothing but success.

The fact that they claim the 2nd floor to be a whiskey lounge is a joke. They only have chipped ice, no actual whiskey ice cubes. Which is fine for a bar, but not for a place that claims to be a whiskey lounge. They gave us a menu that apparently had old prices on it but didn't tell us, and then proceeded to charge us $8 more per drink. When we asked about it they said "yeah because that's an old menu" as if we should have known it was an old menu even though there was no date on it. I'm sorry but a drink here was not worth $20. Very disappointing.
