Tl;dr: This is the chicken joint that will have you scratching your head when you pull up to it. Great chicken, no fuss place. We stopped at this place toward the end of our long road trip across the country. The end destination was Durham, and we needed some thing to eat before we got there. We found this place since it had a lot of good reviews, but were confused when we got there. It's in a gas station in a non-descript part of Greensboro. The counter was at the back of the gas station, with two guys cooking chicken and plating it up. But by plating it up, i'm talking about putting your order into a styrofoam container and marking the price on the lid. They had a lot of options! White meat, dark meat, wings, drums, tenders, gizzards, livers, fish, wedges, and of course a couple of pieces of white bread to round it out. We got a few chicken quarters (the best part of the chicken) and a small box of chicken gizzards (because who doesn't want to improve their jaw strength). The seasoning they add is fantastic and not salty at all. It is well rounded and gets into the nooks and crannies of the chicken right after they pull it from the fryer. My father got the fish, and he said that he'd be willing to drive from Durham to get it a few more times before they flew home.

Sure it's in a gas station but the fried foods are amazing. I always get the fried gizzards. They are made just the way my mom made them. Crispy outside and tender inside. The price is perfect and they even have a place to sit and enjoy your meal. I recommend this location.

Gas station hole in the wall chicken place. Food: Me and my coworkers have ordered from her a few times. The chicken wings have always been fresh and yummy. Even though I am personal not a huge fan of potato wedges. I will that theirs are truly good quality. Service: I have always order there food through DoorDash. And never had a problem with service. Ambiance: like I stated, this is not a Michelin star restaurant. It is literally in a gas station. But like the old saying says never judge a book by its cover. And enjoy

Hole in the wall but don't let it fool ya. Chicken and Livers here are the best I've had around. My co-worker just made a trip there without me and I'm a little offended lol. I turned him onto it a couple of weeks ago and I think he's been there 3 times already. Prices are reasonable and portions very good.

Good tasting chicken. Not greasy like some other fast food chicken. Had a lot of flavor/seasoned well. Loved the potatoe wedges ?

This fried chicken at gas stations can be really good. This place probably is one of them, if you come at the right time. It was the first time I tried this place, as I'm an out-of-towner. I went for the drumsticks on steroid. The verdict: quality is on the borderline of being mediocre or worse. Mind you that it was 8:30PM when I got my fried chicken from a pile of drumsticks that had been sitting there for who-knows how long. They were almost too dried out to be iof any degree juicy. I also tasted some staleness in the meat, as if it was resting at room temperature for too long. I may be wrong here and may ruin someone's business. If you have eaten at as many fried chicken places as a fried chicken nut, you'd know what freshness tastes like.

I stopped by to pick up some lunch today, because I've been craving some chicken livers. The man behind the counter was really nice. I bought small boxes of livers, gizzards, and potato wedges. The lady at the checkout was really nice, too. All of the food was great, and the portions were plentiful. I had enough for both lunch and supper. I just wish there was a location closer to my house. It's a good haul from my house out near the Greensboro airport.

I like the fish fillets, they are tasty.

3.5 Stars I've eaten their chicken wings many times. Sometimes they have inconsistencies in size but the crunchiness and flavor is always there.

Just visited this location for the first time today and I have to say they have some of the best, if not the best fried chicken in GSO. Super crispy on the outside and very tender and juicy on the inside with tons of flavor! Well done in my book and I will for sure be going back to try some more of their offerings!!

I wanted some good fried chicken for lunch so I turned to my Yelp community for suggestions. Pantry fried chicken came up and it was highly rated. I set out on my trek for lunch. When I pulled up it was LITERALLY a gas station. This caused my antennas to go up and I really wondered if I wanted to risk it. Going inside, the food is tucked in the far back corner. Everything is displayed so there is no secret to the menu. I ordered a chicken leg quarter with wedges and some fried gizzards. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The chicken is not very greasy and very tasty. The gizzards are fried almost perfectly. You also can't beat the price! Very inexpensive and good quality. I will definitely be going back! If you don't mind the aesthetics (or lack of) check these guys out for your fried chicken fix in G'boro
