I have gone here over 30 years. They are authentic. The jerk chicken is how I cook it at home with lots of gravy. Don't be in a hurry but the best Jamaican restaurants take their time.
Take out only, food was good, portion size was appropriate for price. Will try 1-2 other places and will if that is my place for carribbean in NC. Coming from Baltimore MD I haven't found any that compare yet, other than a place in Asheboro that closed shortly after finding it. But this place is see definitely a contender.

The CHICKEN meat is delicious. The rice and peas & mix veggies are very dull, bland and NASTY! They WILL NOT allow you to just PAY FOR MEAT but you have to get the entire entree even if you don't want it. The Jerk chicken also is sometime so spicy you cant eat it. on the flip side, I love the products they have for the public to buy.

Since the old man left this store has been going down hill. I travel for an hr to come here. I came to buy food for my whole family. Last time I didn’t get banana in my meal. There was no cabbage and it was disappointing. This time I wanted to get some soup but they didn’t have triditional Jamaican soup. So I asked to a taste. The guy stated he could due to policy. I have to buy without even tasting traditional Jamaican food. I miss the owner. But for now on I will be going to buy from else where.
