I've been to Pastabilities many times. Mostly because my family likes it. Right off the bat, I'll say the service and atmosphere is always excellent. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with the wait staff and they are above average for sure. It's an enjoyable vibe to have some wine with.
The food is just quite unexceptional in my opinion. The chicken has a flavor (not much) and texture like it is batch cooked and just added to the pasta dishes. The eggplant in the parm is way too rubbery. I wouldn't say it's flat out bad, but you can tell there isn't much passion in the kitchen. On the bright side, the prices are generally good.

My Father was from New Orleans and I wish he was still alive. I had the Cajun pasta and it was exceptional. I’m sure he would have agreed with me. I can’t wait to return.
PS I was served a huge portion and had to take half of it home. It was even delicious as a leftover the next day.

Wonderful little restaurant with great service & atmosphere. The food was good; however, the red sauce has a curry flavor to it, which I didn't love, but the white sauce was light & delicious. Definitely recommend & the prices were reasonable

A Hidden Gem in Greensboro – My Night at Pastabilities
I just had the most amazing meal at Pastabilities in Greensboro, North Carolina, and I’m still thinking about it hours later.
The highlight of my evening? The Mediterranean Nachos. A masterpiece on a plate—layers of crisp pita chips topped with fresh tomatoes, olives, creamy feta, and a perfectly tangy tzatziki drizzle. Every bite struck the perfect balance of texture and flavor. It was light, flavorful, and deeply satisfying in a way I didn’t expect from a pasta-forward menu.
But it wasn’t just the food that made the night special. The entire atmosphere of Pastabilities radiates warmth and charm. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. The staff was kind, attentive without being overbearing, and clearly passionate about what they do. The space itself was cozy and intimate, filled with the soft hum of happy conversations and the aroma of comfort food made with love.
It’s not often that a single appetizer can leave such a lasting impression, but the Mediterranean Nachos at Pastabilities are truly unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu—but honestly, I’d go back just for those nachos alone.
If you’re ever in Greensboro, don’t miss this spot. Pastabilities is more than a restaurant—it’s a delicious little piece of joy.

I hate to rate the food poorly or average.
Our service was great and the environment was solid. Lighting was good, seating was fine, the bathrooms were clean. Inside and out of the restaurant was clean and well kept.
The food just didn't have the best flavor, texture, or spicing. That being said I can't complain too much for the price.

I tried their grilled veggie salad and creamy pesto pasta. Both were delicious.. food portions are smaller, but the service and taste are great.
Tried the great sea caper entree and it was disappointing. A couple of shrimp, a few very tiny clams, and bay scallops, not sea. Kind of bland with not much flavor. The sticks appetizer was fair. When the Caesar salad was the best part of the meal that kind of tells you the dinner was mediocre at best. But our server was very polite.
The food was delicious. I had the veal parmesan and it was wonderful. Service and atmosphere are great.
Had an amazing lunch with the family—something for everyone on the menu, from juicy burgers to fresh salads and flavorful pasta dishes. Every bite was delicious, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was fast, friendly, and attentive—can’t wait to go back!
