Positano is our favorite Italian restaurant in Greensboro. From gnocchi to ravioli, with every kind of pasta and sauce, first-rate meatballs, great bread, the best bruschetta in town, and flawless, attentive service at all times, this restaurant is our grandkids' favorite place to dine out -- and it's at the top of our list when it's just the two of us, too.
Kid-friendliness: They have been able to accommodate and please our children and grandchildren for years. Seating and menu selections are perfect for our needs.

Red sauce is not appealing, not even a good tomato sauce, no seasonings. Bread and oil very good. Great service-there was only one other occupied table. This place has potential but as it is, I won’t be back.

We recently visited Positano and were very pleasantly surprised by the welcoming feeling we received upon arrival. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and seated. The gentleman that sat us was very nice and made us feel at home. Our waitress came shortly after and was absolutely great offering warm bread and a saucer with dressing( which was a rare treat since bread is seldom offered in many we’ve eaten). She also gave us options for our salads with our meals. We both ordered the Lobster Ravioli. The sauce was incredibly delicious, rich and creamy without being overwhelming. For dessert we ordered the Tiramisu, also excellent. They didn’t disappoint. It was such a nice dinner out. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food was mixed. Apps were good but entrees lacked luster. Wait service was poor. A smile and pleasant personality non existent. Two entrees were unsatisfying and left substantially uneaten but oblivious to waiter. Big miss. Lost this customer.
Waitress couldn’t be bothered. Started off just fine. Entrees: my husbands was fine. My shrimp and scallops tasted very fishy and I didn’t even eat 1/4 of the plate.she My daughter’s fettuccine with tomato sauce tasted like a jar sauce. 95% of her meal went back. Waitress took plates asked if we wanted a box, we declined. Right there she should have asked if there was a problem - but nope nothing . Asked for the check and she placed and didn’t care. Would not recommend this place to anyone. With family in the business and even myself it’s sad how one inexperienced employee can hurt your business. Can’t tell you her name because she didn’t introduce herself. Zero personality. Waste of money and we left to eat elsewhere. She was blond and around 5’2” mid to late 30’s. Only waitress on the floor.

Visited Postiano recently and was excited to try it out based on other reviews. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectation. A couple seated after us was able to order and receive their antipasti. When we were finally able to order, the waiter forgot what we ordered and still got our order wrong. I never received my side salad, and my drink was never refilled. I will NOT be dining here again.
