Their two best dishes take extra time to cook but this is a solid Hawaiian and Japanese restaurant and one that you should check out

Picked up a carry out order of Moco Loco and the fried fish. Both were unexpected, different, and wonderful! The two orders were enough to feed three with plenty of leftovers. Owner/staff were so sweet and attentive.

The ramen here is superb! It's so good that I went two days in the same week. The tonkotsu is rich and delicious, and the Tan Tan might be even better, and it's quite spicy! The amount of chashu in the bowl is very generous, and its so tender and delicious. Highly recommended!

Had a great lunch with family! Service was great and super friendly. The food was delicious. We had a variety of plates, from both the hawaian bbq and ramen menus. My only complaint is that they did not have a changing table in the restroom.

Food had an excellent range of flavors and crispiness, exactly what I was in the mood for. The portions were large and filling! The seating was open and the service was very helpful. At one point I was trying to figure out the different options and the owner came over to help out. I felt very well taken care of, and had leftovers to make rice bowls the next night!

Amazing food and excellent service. I haven't found a thing on the menu that I dislike. If you've never been, I highly recommend trying it out.
This is the hidden gem of ramen place. We haven't tried the BBQ yet but we will definitely come back for it next time.As for ramen, it's by far one of the best broth in GSO. We ordered tonkotau ramen and tantan ramen. Both broth were rich and flavorful. Tantan was a bit spicy but not like Thai food spicy so if you love some spice you'd love it.There are 4 pieces of chashu pork we love the thick cut of them and they are super tender. The ramen noodles are soft but not squishy which is perfect. The boiled egg was well marinated in soy sauce and cooked well enough it's still a bit runny. The takoyaki tasted good but I eish they out the kotsu sauce on it instead of mayo so it could give the authentic taste of takoyaki. The cabbage could have been sliced thinner but to me I really don't mind it.Most importantly, it's super cheap compared to the value of the food. If we hadn't ordered takoyaki this meal for 2 would have been under $25 which is like $12 per person. You won't be able to find this price in GSO for a bowl of ramen anymore. The owners and staff were very attentive everyone constantly came to us and ask if we needed anything else as well as refilling my water frequently. Plus, the restroom was super clean. I've never seen any restaurants clean their restrooms like over here. I personally believe that if restroom is clean that also means their kitchen is also clean. That tells already how they are serious about food safety.

best ramen ever?? im in love i definitely recommend coming to bbq ramen, their service on point. very neat and clean, not too crowded, their food really makes me feel like im back home in hawaii.
The spicy beef ramen was great! The broth had a lot of flavor and wasn't too spicy, but just right. The noodles were on the softer side, but they weren't so soft that it was just mush. There was still a good chew to them. The beef was very flavorful and tender. All that, and it was much more affordable than many ramen places I've been to! Will definitely come back soon! ? ? ?
My boyfriend and I ordered through doordash and the food was phenomenal. The vegetable rolls were perfect ( I'm very picky on my vegetable rolls). Can't wait to try other dishes, will definitely be a returning customer.

Best ramen in the area! Most likely all of North Carolina. Try the Tan
Really disappointed with this restaurant, was passing through the area and wanted some ramen on a cold day. Seen this place in Google, had great reviews, food looks good...so why so few stars?First when the plastic bowl of ramen with a plastic soup spoon was sat down in front of me I knew then and there this more than likely was a huge mistake. The broth, the backbone of ramen was bland and flavorless unless salt is what you're after. It also lacked FAT in the broth too, the broth should make your mouth feel rich and silky not like hot salt water. The pork looks and tasted like it was boiled and then put on a grill top for long enough to give some color. The meat was stringy and the fat was not rendered meaning, yes they boiled this instead of roasting as it should be.The noodles were actually the best part, nice chew and bite. Not mushy or tough, just right actually. The bamboo shoots....tough and just bad. The corn...corn in ramen?♂️ yeah it wasn't great either.Ate very little, paid and left a tip. Took what was essentially a full bowl to go and placed it in the trash can outside next to the door on my way out.
