I went in to order and the staff was very short with me. I was trying to ask a question about the frappe since the menu I saw online wasn't up to date (which is absolutely fine, I just was trying to figure it out) and I wanted to ask about the French Vanilla. They took someone else's order behind me and only took my order after not acknowledging me for another few minutes. I tried explaining it was my first time ordering coffee for myself and the staff wasn't at all patient.
I was excited reading the reviews but I don't think I'll come back.

Closed for the summer, but they didn't update their online hours, so pretty disappointed.

I stopped by while doing a summer program, this place has an amazing vibe. The staff were very friendly and patient with me as I ordered. I decided to try something new and it ended up being really good. I could picture this being a nice spot to do schoolwork and enjoy a little treat!

Such a great little find on the Guilford College campus. This unassuming cafe is in a plain cream building with very limited parking nearby but perfectly walkable for students and faculty on campus. This coffee shop has light pastries like muffins, ? croissants, pound ? cake and more. They also have plenty of ☕? teas and coffee, along with tasty espresso drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, and more. The staff are friendly and have your order ready fast. This location also has ample indoor and outdoor seating with a ♿ handicap accessible entrance, seating, and walk ways.

Love the space. Beautiful little building on a pretty campus. Went there once and got a dark roast which was very watery. Went again to give it one more shot and received a similar cup of watery coffee. Someone needs to give some training on coffee/water ratio and brew time or something because its a shame not to get a proper cup in what is otherwise a gorgeous space.

There are a few variables that lead up to a two-star review. I want to preface that this is my opinion and my view based on MY taste buds.First, the quality of coffee is lacking. I order a cup of black coffee (no adjuncts, cream, sugar, syrup, etc.) The nose showcases light honeysuckle and pear crisp. The mouth is thin, with little no body or character. It was at the ideal temperature in my mind (roughly 140f). I allowed the coffee to cool down to maybe showcase some more characteristics (assumed 120f); that, unfortunately, did not help. My assumption is the Coffee to water ratio is off. OR based on the nose, the grind of coffee may need to be tweaked (finer grind for more TDS= total dissolved solids)Second, The Wi-Fi is under an unsecured network. Typically I can overlook this by utilizing a VPN and making my connection more secure. But it looks like the IT administrator has blocked VPN usage. Unsecured networks are just as dirty as licking a subway pole in New York. You just don’t touch them. The property is beautiful. Nestled right between a well manicured College. I hope when I come back next the coffeewill be more to my liking.Cheers,

I saw many beautiful pictures of this place so I decided to go. This place is pretty but their coffee taste so bad. I got latte with Lavender syrup it was so so. My BF got Caramel macchiato. It was so light coffee and sweet , no layered between milk and coffee and no taste of shot of espresso at all. We are disappointed with what we expected.

A little piece of sanity and quietude in The madness of the big city.

The sweetest little coffee shop! Located on Guilford College campus and the baristas are always kind, quick, and thoughtful. The coffee is delicious and they also offer pastries. The little patio is perfect to sit and enjoy your coffee.
