It’s the second time in a row that I have had awful service at this place. Apparently they only wait on you if they know you. I won’t go back ever. They could be giving food away and I would not go back there!!!!!!
My girlfriend and I decided to try a new place for brunch but unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience. I drove 52 mins (both ways) and was super excited to try this restaurant today. First, It took way too long for anyone to even take our drink orders and after we had ordered the waitress returned stating that they had ran out of grits. My girlfriend only eats seafood and sides so she ordered eggs and grits. This really upset her because there weren’t many options for a pescatarian. She wanted to leave so I got my food to go.
I ordered the Hot honey chicken and waffles and this is what I received. This looks NOTHING like what is advertise on social media. I cannot believe that I paid $15 plus tax for this and after driving almost a hour.
Will not be returning.

I had a reservation and they ran out of food. It took forever to get seated. They cleaned the table with a dirty rag. The waiter complained of being tired. Do better.

Great neighborhood place located in a strip mall. A small restaurant with a scratch kitchen so the menu changes weekly. Really nice staff. Eight of us dropped in after a bodybuilding competition. The staff was gracious and welcoming.
Vegetarian options: It's a scratch kitchen so they can make it the way you want it. ??

Very expensive bottomless mimosas. Went to another place much cheaper for the same thing.

Went there for brunch, 9/28/24. The wait staff were amazing! Friendly, personable, efficient, and provided great service!!! Bloody Mary’s were great too. Food was a HUGE disappointment! IF YOU CAN’T PROPERLY POACH AN EGG, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE EGGS BENEDICT ON YOUR MENU! Both of our Eggs Benedicts were hammered - they were hard cooked to death. No one orders Eggs Benedict and expects a hard cooked yolk. There was very little of the mediocre Hollandaise sauce. All in all a big disappointment.
I would go back for drinks, but I would never order food there again. At today’s prices, I expect better. The staff and atmosphere are terrific! Go for fun and drinks, just eat elsewhere.

Sloppy sandwiches oozing mayo. Yuck! Very crisp bacon but tasteless. Greasy house made chips -- 2 or 3 stuck together even though asked for extra crispy. Server did replace chips but many were still undercooked. Server was great, cook not so.

Cons, sorta of:
I didn’t care for the pancakes. They were too thick, fluffy and had a doughy undercooked taste. I simply prefer a more golden brown buttery pancake with crispy edges or a tad savory. But they were happy to remove them from our bill and apologized that we didn’t like the pancakes.
Loved:
• When the chef comes to the dining room to observe how everyone is enjoying their meal so they can adjust portions, spices or recipes accordingly, you know you’re in the right place. This chef cares wants you to enjoy your meal.
• Our bartender was generous with pours. It felt good to see every drink being made with a fair amount of alcohol. Money well spent.
• Nice alcohol selection at the bar
My advice is to order anything with the homemade biscuits. The breakfast sandwiches looked so amazing I wish I tried one. Can’t wait to return to this neighborhood gem.

Great quaint place in a nice spot! We ordered the queso dip, chicken sandwich with fouse fries and a grilled chicken salad. Everything was very flavorful, and prepared very well! I only wished the fries and tortillas for the queso were less salted. Otherwise, I think we've found a solid go -to spot! Thank you, Chef Jessica, Jamie, and Daisy (I hope I didn't get the name wrong)!
We've always received good food and service at Rascals. However our last two visits were not up to par. Today it took a while for our order to be taken. Once it was it seemed as if everyone was getting their food except us. Danny they started bringing out pieces at a time. We were told one dish had been burnt and was being recooked. One diner was finished eating by the time the last plate arrived. The food that we were told was burnt was still burnt on one side (pancakes). We were given a discount on the pancakes. We will give them another chance however that will be the last one. We loved this place but it has changed and not in a good way.
The BLT was really good but the fries had WAY TOO MUCH salt on them. I was able to rub off some of it with a tissue I had in my purse. I asked for my Diet Coke to be served with my meal because we ate ourside and it was warm out but they brought it right away. This was my 2nd try here. I wont be back.
