Another excellent celebratory dinner here! The four of us were all impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The attention to detail is obvious, with every side and sauce as special as the mains.

Great fresh fish with creative plates that try to match certain flavors with the type of fish that is served. The mussels were good, I’d recommend ordering just those instead of the mix with clams which I didn’t know was possible at first. I do wish they had rice as one of the sides. I ended up ordered mashed sweet potatoes which were ok but a bit heavy on the ginger. Rice just compliments fish so well and it should be added to the menu!

Had a wonderful special dinner with hubbie. Everything was absolutely fantastic, his sea bass was amazing and my rainbow trout was beautifully prepared. The mile high key lime pie was everything i remembered it to be! Definitely worth the trip to Greensboro for us!

Visited for the first time with some friends. The layout was very nice and contrary to some reviews, it was not too loud. We called ahead and made reservations so we were seated immediately. Everyone at the table was given ice waters right away and those glasses stayed full the entire time during our visit. Our server was super polite and very knowledgeable when it came to the menu, how the dish was prepared, and even advising our party of potential allergens. We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and hushpuppies to start and they were delicious! The Loster Risotto was fantastic. The Monkfish with Crab was very good as well. I ordered the whole Red Snapper which was served with a delicious citrus butter. It was cooked to perfection and very delicious. For my sides, I chose the brussels sprouts and the collard greens. Both sides were very flavorful and delicious. I especially enjoyed the collard greens. Another member of our party ordered the Mahi Mahi and absolutely loved it. The staff routinely checked in with us to see if we had any complaints or needed anything. We were so pleasantly sated from our meal that we opted out of dessert, but the selections of desserts we saw pass our table all looked amazing.

It was delicious. One of the best meals I've had in Greensboro. We had several different dinners with our party. All were great!

This place is awesome. Best seafood in Greensboro, for sure. I'm no longer going to 1618 or Machete for the fancy dinner, because the food at Reel Seafood is just better. The dishes are unique, with complex and beautiful flavors. The seafood is fresh, and you can tell they take pride in where they source from based on the quality of the food. Highly recommend!

This place is a weird mix of hoity-toity pretensions and humble trappings. It is in a nondescript strip mall in a random part of Greensboro, they have a robust takeout business with parking for takeout customers right up front, and they have a cheesy sign and a punny name. So, imagine my surprise when I walk in at 5 pm with my kids to be told that they could only seat us at the bar if we didn't have a reservation. Y'all, we were the only people in the restaurant, and dude was still gasping at the idea that we would stroll in without a reservation. when we left an hour later there were still plenty of empty tables. They are trying to manufacture something that is best created organically through good service and good word of mouth. If you don't want people with kids to stroll in, maybe move your location out of the strip mall beside the taekwondo studio, lolz. The food was OK, though not surprisingly overpriced.

The service was very good. No complaints about that at all.The food was served lukewarm warm at best. The baked potato was not hot enough to melt the butter.Nothing is heavily seasoned except the mashed sweet potatoes; the chef used ginger in the mashed sweet potatoes and it was an excellent flavor. The Brussel sprouts were not seasoned: all of the flavor comes from the glaze. The Oysters Rockefeller had a great flavor but as with everything else, the dish was served barely warm. (Note: I wasn’t a fan of their Hollandaise sauce that came with the Oysters Rockefeller. I’m glad o got it “on the side). The fried oysters and trout almandine were okay. Not a lot of seasonings so the seafood was clearly the “star” of those dishes.Overall, the food was okay. It would have been better if it was served above room temperature.

My best friend, my son and I wanted to grab a little bite before we went to his Taekwondo class. We walked up to the register to look at the menu and no one came and helped us. We were there standing there for a good 10 minutes and still no one. Mind you, they weren't even busy. And it was almost time for my son's class to start. So we ended up leaving. I feel like since we were a minority my best friend is African American and my son and I are Asian and the patrons and workers were predominantly Caucasian, we felt discriminated. So we left. Never again setting foot in this establishment.

This was the first time that I had visited this restaurant. At first I thought it was just going to be another seafood restaurant but boy was I wrong. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately and with kindness. Since we didn’t have a reservation, we sat at the bar (which I have no problem with). We sat down, and again, greeted immediately by the bartender and who I assume was the owner/manager. They gave us detailed descriptions of the specials for the day and were told that everything was fresh and nothing had been frozen. A lot of restaurants will say that just because it puts a good reputation to their name but they were not lying. I am actually intolerant to processed/frozen shrimp; however, after I was informed it wasn’t frozen, I ordered some shrimp. Lo and behold, no reaction. (Even if I had a reaction, it wouldn’t have been a big deal; no anaphylactic shock or anything). Everyone we spoke to were so nice and very genuine. I had a great conversation with the bartender and will definitely be coming back!! Also this was the first restaurant I’ve been to that actually knows how to season and cook collard greens ;)
