Revised review: they made the second jalapeño margarita with cucumber juice making it sweet rather than spicy. It is listed as having cucumber juice in it. I asked for a mango marg and it was VERY sweet.
Original review: Great elote cheese dip and jalapeño margarita (only comes in the grande size though).

I read reviews that said the carne Asada fries were like that of southern California. Whoever posted that must have never been to southern California, because the fries here were far from authentic. They were so hard, barely any cheese, and the portion was extremely small for the price. The best thing about this place is the sweet tea!! I definitely will NOT be going back!!!

The food took a long time to arrive at the table. We were a group of 9. So I can cut some slack. Surprised there was no added gratuity added to the checks. Our group always tips well but we try to be aware of that so we don’t tip super well. lol

Wow, what a place. Tiny portions, service that ghosts you — asked for salsa, got a “sure” and then nothing. Chairs are literally shedding. If you’ve got piles of cash and hours to waste, you’ll love it here. Everyone else? Run.

Love this place! I've been there 3 times in the past month owning to the BOGO entrees coupons from the Harris Teeter receipts next door. Great food, friendly service and good price with the coupon. I have enjoyed the shrimp fajitas supreme, veggie fajitas and a steak bowl of some kind. Highly recommend.
The food is quite good; shrimp tacos were great. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a rating of 4 out of 5 stars is because there were five birthday parties over the course of our dinner and each time they brought every single wait staff out to sing boisteriously along with a giant sombrero, and a drum to wish them a happy birthday. A nice gesture, but it became very loud and rather annoying to everyone else who is not celebrating. Other than that, their outdoor patio is also quite cozy spot.

Excellent customers services and the food was delicious
We rarely go to Mexico restaurants, especially Mexican chain restaurants, due to the blandness of the food and the uninspiring drinks. But we decided to try Rio Grande and were very pleasantly surprised. Both of our dishes were very flavorful, and the portions were quite large - enough for another dinner. While our frozen margaritas were way too sweet and syrupy, our server was kind enough to bring us each shots of tequila to remedy that problem! Talk about good service. Definitely recommend and will be back to try some different dishes.
Good food I normally get the fajitas which are always superior but it's Taco Tuesday so when in Rome 🤷🏾
I love Mexican food and have tried just about every Mexican restaurant in Greensboro, and this place is my ultimate favorite place, just love everything about it
