Scratch Fried Chicken

First time eating from the restaurant and I would have to say that I will not return. I am a foodie and know great food when I taste it. First off, the chicken was very crispy on the outside but wasn’t cooked all the way in the inside 😩 The mac & cheese was horrible because it also wasn’t cooked long enough and had very little seasoning and cheese inside of it (very loose and bland) The collard greens were chewy and the biscuit was super dry. The only item that I enjoyed was the slaw. To end this review, I had to air fry the chicken at home until it was done throughout before eating with the remainder of the greens and slaw. I tossed the mac & cheese and biscuit into a trash can on my way home. Popeyes would’ve been a better choice😏

Me and my husband stop bye because the reviews were ok and we wanted good fried chicken. . When we got there it was ok atmosphere about 10 table set up . My husband ordered the egg roll ,wings , collards and slaw . I ordered chicken tenders and fries . my husband ask for some sauces mix and the lady said they don’t do that . She said everything was season and he wouldn’t need it . He took her word . Once the food arrived he tried the egg roll he said was 7-10 then his wings came up . The wings look great crispy and golden but he said it had no taste . He said the slaw and greens was nasty . My food arrive basic chicken tenders I thought can’t go wrong with that . I was completely wrong . They taste like fried air . The tenders look good but they had no seasoning . I never had bad tenders . Even the ketchup didn’t taste good . We both laughed because it was that bad . We went there and even reviewed our first bite on video . I really tried to like it but it really tasted like meat and fried food . I sent the chicken tenders back and said I’ll just get the wings cause it was that bad . The lady charge me $3 more . I didn’t complain I paid and waited 20 min for my chicken. . I took a bite and left that chicken on the table . I don’t no what they marinate the chicken in but it isn’t enough . My husband own a popular restaurant so he knows good food and this wasn’t it . We travel the world to eat good food and this one is definitely on the bottom . The customer service is mid as well . Anyway we paid our $40 bucks and left . Also it was others there who was trying it for the first time and said the same thing . The food look great but no taste at all . It was a complete waste of time .

Greasy as seems they don't change the oil much to save money...ingestion unless you have a strong stomach

Excellent food quality 👌🏾💯
My only complaint was the fact there was too much oil not drained off or out of the sauce. Had Nashville Hot. Chicken, fries were both cooked perfectly otherwise. Definitely recommend.

Food is good but they always run out Bannana bread kielbasa etc.

Several friends recommended Scratch since my wife and I were looking to grab a bite to eat before going to the movies. We ordered a 6-piece tenders, seafood eggrolls,, okra, and coleslaw. It took 20 minutes to make, which was longer than we expected. When it arrived, we could tell we ordered too much food. The tenders were big, so with all that we ordered, a 3-piece would’ve sufficed. We enjoyed the food, but it wasn’t 5-star. I’d go back again if I had the chance and try other items from the menu.

Their fried chicken has a subtle seasoning that's pretty good. The cheeseburger egg rolls were really good too. My only complaint is the mac and cheese. The noodles were way too overcooked and soggy. Very unpleasant texture.

My friend and I ordered online. I got three whole wings with a waffle and my friend got the three tenders and a waffle. Both were very well seasoned and the waffle was perfect. The food was hot and you can tell it was freshly prepared. Both came with a whipped butter which made the waffle even better. It was a perfect Sunday brunch at home.

The young man that took our order was clear and courteous. The restaurant was spotless clean. The food was hot, fresh, and fast. The owners of this place should be proud. Great fried chicken!

I had a great experience here. I got the half rotisserie grilled ?.. it was seasoned perfectly.. & for my sides. I had greens & white rice. I will return next time I'm in the area
