She said the flavor was weird. I had the croaker, whiting, and shrimp plate with green beans and corn. Average fried food but the green beans were sweet which was weird and nasty. Who wants sweet green beans?! My daughter n law had the flounder and shrimp w/fries and fried okra. She said her food was mediocre at best. The lemonade and tea are “Country Tyme”brand. I would think at least they would have homemade drinks. We came here because of a video we saw on Tik Tok but we will never come again. Food is overpriced for the portions. Atmosphere was dry and unwelcoming. The young lady working there was very nice but the service was too slow. Our food was served one meal at a time which was also weird!

Was there on 7-26-25. Found a note on the door saying there were closed for renovations. At least 2 other cars pulled up with me. Please update Google so it doesn't show that you're open when you're not. Really wanted to try your restaurant while in the area.

Visiting my mother in North Carolina and my aunt highly recommended this place. It did not disappoint! Super clean with a friendly inviting atmosphere, family owned and the food is absolutely delicious. I had the lunch shrimp boil , and it was out of this world. I also really liked that the prices didn't hurt my wallet. A must go!

We took an hour trip from Raleigh to check it out. They did not disappoint 😋. I enjoyed the grouper plate & my quest enjoyed the crab boil, broiled shrimp & shrimp mac & cheese. Everything was hot & absolutely delicious! We were graciously served by 2 guys who took great care of us. Looking forward to another weekend get-a-way to enjoy friends & great food!

We walked in on today as first timers and from his opening statement we knew we were at the right place for lunch. We told him how we heard about the place and he launched into giving us the low down and making recommendations. The owner immediately threw us a curve by offering us a complimentary helping of shrimp and grits for us both. Needless to say it was absolutely amazing. The food didn’t take long to prepare and when it arrived it didn’t disappoint. Everything was hot and well seasoned. Shrimp was well fried and well seasoned. Wifey enjoyed every last morsel on her plate. The welcoming atmosphere coupled with the amazing selection of entrees / taste down to the final wave goodbye makes this an experience worth experiencing again. If you’re in the area or traveling through this is worth the detour for some hot and fresh food. BLESSINGS!!!!
