Great place to go hangout with who ever! Really great environment all around friendly staff bar tender ladys! They welcome u & they want u to have a great time when yur there always friendly ppl no matter what day it is, u can ask Shimmy! For a drink u can tell her what u want she will make it or u can tell her to surprise u, if u tell any of the bartender girls to make u something they will or they can surprise u also! I have had most of them surprise me & it was great all around!! & also Queen the bar tender guy! The owner is a chill person even the guys that run the front door I've been going here for the past month & been going back ever since I like the environment & the music bands that come out & play!! & yes they do have a couple pool tables also Come check it out ppl u will not be disappointed at all!!! Shiners is a fantastic venue that hosts music performances from nearly all genres. But the Heavy Metal shows are unreal. Friendliest and competent bartenders. Clean, safe, and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit..and it might turn to out to be your main hangout. Cheers!

I stopped going to this bar because of the owner Roger. He is a very disrespectful person. He has tried to attack people numerous times. If you go to the bar be careful of the owner if you do or say something that he don't like he will not hesitate to try to put his hands on you. He tried to several times with me but he has never gotten far enough to where it got serious I don't condone to violence so I try to walk away but even if you walk away this man still pursues you and he's tries to instigate you to do something so be mindful of this man sometimes I wonder if he's all there in the head. This bar deserves no stars because of the owner. It's not just me, I'm just the only one who will post a review..

I'm a musician, I travel all over the place, play in and visit a LOT of bars and venues. Shiner's REALLY impressed me. Excellent, caring staff, clean and well-maintained venue - and the bathrooms! Very female friendly, a really great safe spot with their community in mind. I'll definitely be coming back.

I drove down from WV to see Saprogen play at the Metal from the Mountains gig, absolutely fantastic venue!! Great staff as well, and it is a dog friendly bar!! I didnt even know that existed! Definitely a unique experience and look forward to future shows!
