Feb 2, 2025 Visited the 42 fry on Gate City Boulevard in Greensboro North Carolina. Worse experience from the black young man at the cashier It is so sad that you go to patronize a businesses and you have someone at the front cashier taking your order as if they don’t care to have your business along with a bad attitude and look at you as if you have the problem never greets you and when asked what would you like while being indecisive he then looks annoyed horrible horrible this will be my last visit here. Unbelievable the horrible Customer Service from a young black man that’s given an opportunity to have a job and have the worst attitude. I hope the owner going forward sees the importance of customer service in a professional kind manner instead of just having someone working for you that gives the worse service that will definitely hurt the business.

Got the whiting sandwich. Super generous fish pack into it. Also tried shrimp tacos. Yummy. (I do wish there were 3 instead of 2.) Ventured away from plant based eating to try it. It was worth the try. Glad I at least know what it tastes like before returning plant based.

I had a taste for some fish last night, and actually forgot about this place.. So I stopped by and got a 7 piece whiting.. The young man that took my order was very pleasant.. The fish was so good!. Hot and fresh.. I'll definitely be back.

Great spot with kind and personable staff with excellent quality food. Had the shrimp and flounder basket and can say with confidence, probably some of the best I've ever had. Everything was super fresh and piping hot. The fries are perfectly seasoned and it was fantastic. Will be back for sure!
