Second, when you see a table with four local police officers, you know it's gonna be good!With that said, the quality of food is very good and portions for the price are amazing (bring a wheel barrow)! Seriously, we ordered two meals and there was enough left over for a very full third meal. The hush puppies and shrimp were very tasty, but the shrimp could have been bigger, they were just bay shrimp. The chicken was stupendous, warm, juicy, tender and flavorful. I will definitely go again next time I am in NC!Update: Woops, I guess I missed the drive-thru quietly hidden in the backside of the building. Even though this classifies Smithfield's as a full-blown fast-food restaurant, I actually find this positive. Here's why: The fact that I did not detect any classic signs inside or out signals a desire to keep the atmosphere a bit more classy and comfortable. So I am bumping the Atmosphere star by one which I don't normally go above 3 on a fast-food place, but Smithfield's deserves it in this case!Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant with plenty of ramps.
