Great food
Stopped here after our NC A&T visit and glad we did. The atmosphere was great, the music playing enhanced the ambience. The food was delicious. We had the fried whiting, chicken sandwich, and lamb chops. The seasonings were on point and we were all stuffed and almost fell asleep at the table. We will definitely be back.
My rolls are always missing and I always have to come back waste of my gas food to high to be wrong
I usually like the food here and have been here before but it will be a while before I come back. 1. It was super hot in there 2. It took a while to even get greeted by our server 3. Our server (white girl with tattoos) had a bad attitude and was nice to the table right behind us giving them waters right away and telling them the specials (we didn’t hear any specials or barely a word from her with us) 4. The food came before our drinks. There weren’t that many people for the bar to be backed up. Actually saw the bartender and she looked like she didn’t want to shake or stir any drink and you could tell because the drinks were mediocre. 5. We did not get a “thank you”, “have a good day”, “how was the food”….nothing….not even a refill of my water. I usually over tip (former server problems lol) but I couldn’t even get myself to do it. Overall: The food is decent, the service is awful and the place is hot. I hate that this business is that way because it used to be very good years ago (service and all). The experience actually made me feel uncomfortable and I packed my food up and ate it at home. Order your food to go.
I have been a frequent customer of Luxe for years. This time I had my worst experience. When I was placing the order, the person who answered the phone was a bit rude and rushed. I asked for the 2 piece fried chicken, (which I always get) but the worker seemed confused by my request so I opted for wings. When I arrived, my father decided to go in to pick my order up and unfortunately he was not in dress code. However, the workers were extremely rude and patronizing to him. Overall very unprofessional and rude to do especially since he was there to pick up a simple to go order before closing and did not plan to eat in,”. The food was good as usual, except for the Mac n cheese which was extremely salty and a little burnt. I will not be returning for a while due to the rude and unprofessional behavior shown by the staff. I sincerely hope that the workers can improve their attitude; especially towards (formally) loyal customers. Until then, I will be eating at other restaurants but I wish your business much love and success!
My family and I had dinner here Saturday. I texted the reservation line Friday to make a reservation for 8 people. They responded back and said they could only accommodate 8 people but at separate tables. So I said never-ending. We decided to just go to the restaurant and take our chances. Now I arrive with my full party of 8 and the host is like we can't seat yall together. Mind you there may be 5 tables filled in this entire restaurant, for a Saturday evening at 5pm it is not busy at all. So I then ask how far away would we be away from each other because I'm looking at all these empty tables in this restaurant, but then I was like maybe they have reservations coming. So they ended up seating us at two tables that held 4 each right next to each other and told us to slide the tables together.....the reason I am bringing all this up is because the hostess was acting like accommodating is was a problem. I believe he would have let us walk out the restaurant had we just said ok thanks. Which is not good business at all. So at the end of our meal I'm thinking the restaurant surely will be jam packed with reservations coming in to fill up all the empty tables......nooooo the restaurant was still EMPTY. The food was good. Our server Miracle, even though she told us she was new, did EXCELLENT! The air was out in the restaurant, which we learned had been that way for 2 weeks. Felt like we were literally sitting in a Sauna. Mixed drinks were terrible. The bartender wanted one of our guests to try out their drink when it was brought to the table.....for $18 I'm going to need you to know how to make the drink I ordered. My husband ordered just a tequila and Pineapple, thr short glass wasn't even filled to top. First one we were charged $4 for Pineapple juice and $7 for tequila.....2nd drink we were charged $7.50. This restaurant has pretty good food, but the bartender, AC situation, and the hostess not wanting to seat us in an empty restaurant will make me think twice about coming back to this restaurant. I hop they can clear up these few things for a more enjoyable experience for guests supporting their business.
I didn't eat there.
Not a business who prides themselves on customer experience and professionalism. I would think twice before spending your hard earned money on people who are solely focused on their financial gain and have no concern for treating humans with common decency.
Today was my first time ever going to luxe soul food. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was top notch! The atmosphere was simply amazing. See you soon luxe soul food!!
Don’t do it! What a waste of $80.00. Chickens wings must have come from a dinosaur they were huge and not even a hint of salt and pepper. Unseasoned mess! Collards were okay once you got passed the huge stems. Macaroni and cheese were worse then public school lunch. Lamb chops were only seasoned on the outside. Not to mention how tough and dry they were. They didn’t have any rolls, cornbread nada!! This should not be called soul food at all.

It was a memorable experience for me to eat at Luxe Seafood and Cocktails in Greensboro, North Carolina, recently! The food had soulful flavors that were like a warm hug, and it was delicious. With fresh seafood and tasty, real soul food flavors that really hit the spot, every dish was prepared to perfection. Some dishes I especially enjoyed were the mac-n-cheese, fried fish, and yams. It was the ideal spot to unwind and savor a delicious meal because of its modern and welcoming atmosphere. The staff made sure everything was just right by being kind and attentive. Luxe offers something to suit every taste, whether you're a seafood fan or want for traditional soul cuisine.
Luxe Seafood and Cocktails is a great place to stop if you're in Greensboro for a warm and satisfying meal.

Best Mac n cheese! Gooey and cheesy. Perfect balance of tanginess, creaminess, and saltiness. Great texture. The fried chicken was super moist inside and crispy outside. The collards were just perfect. The staff is lovely and make you feel right at home

We came on a Saturday afternoon/evening so it was the brunch menu but ohhhhh myyyyyy goodness. No wait and I’m assuming it was because it was UNCC’s hoco. We really could’ve been there for only an hour, but we were really enjoying the food. Food was amazing. Service was perfection. I need Luxe to be closer to me. Get the luxe on the beach or the salmon and grits 10000000000000 out of 10. I was so full I was hurting on the way home.
