The website states that Sunday's kitchen hours end at 9:00 pm. I arrived at 7:00 pm and was told the kitchen was closed.

Was walking by and seen hundreds of roaches on the floor video to prove it

The only reason this place gets any stars is because of the beer—which was genuinely good. Unfortunately, everything else was a huge letdown.

The food was some of the worst bar food I’ve ever had. The “hot chicken sandwich” was laughable:
1. Bun
2. Fried, frozen chicken filet
3. Doused with Texas Pete or Frank’s RedHot
4. Jarred chili flakes
5. Basic lettuce, tomato, etc.

It was painfully obvious the chicken came straight out of a freezer bag. Honestly, it felt like something Gordon Ramsay would rip apart on Kitchen Nightmares. Love the unripe green potatoes as well used for the fries.

Service wasn’t any better. No one checked on us, asked how our meal was, or seemed to care at all. The woman who took our order barely spoke five words the entire time.

Great beer doesn’t make up for bad food and worse service. I really wanted to like this place, but it was a massive disappointment.

They took over 5k from my younger entrepreneur I support highly he is a gifted young man and had a special event planned from his followers like me when I arrived at the event had to wait outside for a long period of time before they told the young man he couldn’t have it but instead took his money that he paid for his event that brought out many very special quests they didn’t wanna see him have a successful outcome in my opinion and I don’t care about the manger or whoever of the company that responses to these comments I will be satisfied if yall make it right for what y'all know y'all so wrong don’t support

I love the beer selection and the atmosphere here. It was a nice place to catch up with old friends without being overwhelmed by a lot of people. I would be at a 5 star rating if the service from the bartender didnt have an unpleasant attitude. Bartender poured the drinks well and was efficient, but seemed miserable. I understand that not everybody has a great day but there was no need for the attitude. Other than that I love south end and will be returning

This is a happening spot. Packed it always seems.

Plenty of seating and the star is the two patios. Large tables and also fire pits with circular seating. Inside has plenty of seats, the bar itself, with TVs etc. Food can be ordered inside and staff brings it to you regardless of where you sit. Simple menu but their Ribeye French Dip ($13) and Rosemary Parmesan Fries ($6) are worth a go. The fries' portion are large enough to share with your mate or eat as a meal alone.

About 14 beers or so to pick from. Partial to Austin Eastciders and ManGogh. The Austin is light, smooth, with a pineapple kick. Very easy to drink. It is refreshing and this is by far my favorite here. ManGogh is definitely a wheat beer but does have a faint mango taste to it. Also smooth and easy to drink.

The food can be slow here but with the number of patrons, I get it. Staff gets it done with service. Pet friendly.

Perfect for a date, meet up/get together, or whatever. Nails it every time.

Laid back, counter service, wooden bench seating at picnic tables. Fresh food, very tasty. Friendly staff. Good selection of drafts. Cool decor, modern industrial. We were there mid day on Saturday and the crowd was light. Parking for this area in back is $11. Street parking is tough.

Not enough staff. Waited almost an hour from ordering to getting two chicken sandwiches. Food was just ok. Not very clean. Bartenders were very nice. However, I won't return.

KID FRIENDLY. FAMILY FRIENDLY. SELF-FRIENDLY.

Ever had a night to yourself/ your kids/ your wife/your bachelor party, and thought “dang, I wish I could figure out just WHAT to do with all of this spare time I’m absolutely hemorrhaging with!”

GREAT NEWS DEAR READER, Look no further than SEBC. They’ve got the food, the events, the catering space, the seating, and the bathrooms to suit each event for the rest of your life. Not just that upcoming destination wedding(s) but also; barmitzvahs, anniversaries, antique light fixture conventions, baby showers, birthday parties, LAN parties, funerals, non-AA activities, extended warranty resolutions, RISK game nights, they simply have IT ALL!

The beer is also pretty swell. Have not found better on the eastern seaboard.

5 stars because they could use more Barbie-dream-house-sized-chess boards but I’m just never satisfied.

Come here for a beer, not food. Beer is good and in varied styles. Got the brisket sandwich. Pretty good. Hot chicken was awful, tasted more like off fish than anything else. Cool atmosphere and great art.

Always a good time and chill atmosphere

I am writing a review to say how sad I am that you changed your dry rub wings. They were literally the best wings in town. The last three times I’ve gotten them, they have a bunch of seasoning on them and they are definitely not the same. Like they aren’t even good enough to order. They taste like flavored sand. I came here for the wings. Will come less often now.
