This is what old time southern food is supposed to be like. We went for breakfast one morning, and it was busy! Lots of people and the food was coming out very fast. Servers are very friendly and attentive. Food is exquisite! Biscuits are huge and fluffy! Must have!

We love to find local diners and this one was a gem. Excellent service and food. Be careful, their biscuits are huge! We will definitely go back if we're ever in Greensboro again.

Afternoon matinee, out by 4 PM. My group, wife and friends, decided to walk Elm Street and read menus. Southside Diner had breakfast all day. Decided to try it. It has been said that "you can't mess up breakfast". My experience is that is not necessarily so. However, this trip was definitely in the positive column. First, the décor was pleasant.
