Been going here since age 5. I'm 46 now and it's still the same perfect barbecue experience

If you close at 9, remind your kitchen staff. After an extremely long day, I ended up here with my family to eat dinner at 8:24.(36 minutes before closing) Not one single thing we ordered was even close to warm, aside from one order of hush puppies. I get you’re ready to get out of there because maybe it was a slow night. But those warmers had long been turned off. We pretty much left almost $57 worth of food sitting…. cold BBQ and chicken quarters just aren’t too appealing. Do better guys. We have frequented this location for decades and this was totally out of the norm for what we’ve been accustomed to.

The pork sandwich was delicious, red slaw and extra dip made it one of the best I’ve had in a while. Paired with hush puppies. Perfect! I highly recommend the peach cobbler.

I really wanted to like this place.I'll start with the meat that I got. I can't remember the exact name- chopped chicken- there was no smokey flavor. At all. It tasted like it was baked. It didn't come with any sauce either.I wasn't expecting Bush's canned baked beans from a BBQ place. That was disappointing. The slaw was okay. A little wet, but not bad.My husband got the dipped quarter chicken which I was super hopeful for. The sauce tasted like ketchup and pepper. We did drive thru so I can't speak on anything else.

My favorite bbq place. I've had bbq in hundreds of other places and Stamey's is still the best. Don't change a thing! The food is perfect the way it's always been.

Went thru drive thru to get a couple of chopped plates. Have eaten at Stamey's since I was a kid and the barbecue is still great. I'm 60 now and it always brings back wonderful memories.

Good BBQ , great spot by the Collsseum, super friendly staff and fast service. Liked the jazzed up slaw , my only suggestion would be to spruce up the hush puppies a bit. I'd be back again anytime .

I mostly use the drive through at this Stamey's, and have since 1983. In all that time, not once have they ever gotten one of my orders wrong!

I’ve had better barbecue, and the side salad was disappointing. They give you a bowl of iceberg lettuce with carrots and onions tossed on top, with one cherry tomato. There was so much lettuce that you couldn’t really mix in the carrots and onions without getting it all over the table.
