I love their chopped pork bbq, the bbq chicken and peach cobbler. Those items are definitely 5 stars, but I was disappointed in the stew, because it was mostly vegetables. It was basically vegetable soup, very very little meat. I’m willing to try it again, hoping for more meat next time, because the flavor wasn’t bad.

On our first night back in town, we ALWAYS go to Stameys BBQ. It is THE BEST!!! Tonight was even better because we got Door Dash to deliver!!! Peach cobbler to go!!!

The food came out really slowly and it was quiet too The hush puppies are normally my favorite but these are tasteless The MILD bbq sauce was too watery The spicy bbq sauce was much better I haven’t been back here for many many years because I’ve been going to country barbecue and now I know why

Smoky good! It's basically fast food but still a good experience
First time in Greensboro, had to try this place! Really enjoyed the Brunswick stew, and the chopped pork plate. The vinegar based slaw was delicious with a little tang. I would definitely recommend enjoying the delicious food here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I can see why they have been around for 94 years.....
