Rude older lady took my order I believe her name was Sabrina hard to tell it was like she was trying to hide her name tag behind her apron. This isn’t the first encounter I’ve had with her where she has been rude to me. I asked for my drink a certain way and she gets snippy and says that’s how that signature drink is made. No smile, seems mad at the world. When she’s working I will definitely avoid this Starbucks at all cost. She could definitely drag a persons day down with her attitude that’s for sure.

I just want to shout out Chanel at the Starbucks in the Harris teeter on battleground and horsepen creek! She is simply amazing! She offers some of the best customer service out of any Starbucks I have ever been to worldwide and she makes the absolute best drinks I have ever had from any Starbucks ever. She is always so friendly, kind, outgoing and patient and has such great work ethic. She also has my order memorized now which is amazing bc my drinks are ‘complicated’ but she always makes them with a smile. I truly enjoy seeing her and drinking my coffee knowing that such love and hard work went into it. Chanel deserves to be recognized and applauded for her hard work and dedication and I would be so lost and sad if she ever leaves there! Thank you for your hard work and great service Chanel!!!

AWFUL! I only visited this location because the "real" location with the drive thru across the parking lot is closed or remodeling. By far, this is the absolute WORST customer service experience I've ever had a Starbucks. Outside of being ridiculously slow, both ladies behind the counter were stone faced and looked irritated. I literally order the same thing EVERY time I go to Starbucks and I worked at a coffee shop in college, so I know the lay of the land.I ordered a grande, non-fat vanilla latte no whip hot... pretty average. When I finally got my order, she stated that it was sugar free. I NICELY stated (even started with "I'm sorry") that I did not order a sugar free latte and joked that the sugar was the best part. The lady proceeded to read what the label on the cup said instead of apologizing and remaking my coffee. She AGAIN stated what that cup label said to which I repeated. "I'm sorry, I didn't order sugar free..."From there she engaged with a customer in my presence about whether lattes have sugar or not and went into a monologue about syrups and that being the sugar free part. When I stated that I used to work in a coffee shop and know what I ordered she rudely shoved my coffee across the counter.For $5 a cup, I at least deserve a smile and a thank you. Did I mention that the coffee was terrible? They need to put those ladies in the stock room...

I never write reviews, but felt the need to post this. I visited this Starbucks inside Harris Teeter tonight with family (we are all black). I saw they had two white women baristas who appeared to be cleaning. We asked if they were open and they told us they were closed. So we shopped around harris teeter for about 10 min. We get back to the front and see two white women getting their orders made by the baristas. This was extremely disheartening. We asked the store manager about this, who did not have a clear answer as to why they told us they were closed, but served these white women 10 min later. Very disappointed and will not be back.

I go to this Starbucks all the time and have never had a problem. The staff are very friendly and understanding. The girl (I think her name is Hannah) is such an angel. The drive thru always goes fairly fast!
