Avoid this Starbucks inside Harris Teeter or this certain employee !!! I was there today (10/02/2025) between 9:30-11am, the employee was so rude and unprofessional! The employee was a white lady, probably in her 40s or 50s. There was a customer that ordered her drinks, just a regular order, nothing was out of ordinary but this employee looked so mad, she didn’t even ask the customer if she wanted her receipt or not then proceeded to rip if off right in front of the customer and tossed it in the trash can. It’s like she’s not happy about something and just took it out on whoever happened to come to the place, in this case it’s the customer. I was shocked!!! I’d demand to have my receipt handed it to me if I was that customer but the customer didn’t bother to say anything. Then she told the customer to move down to the pickup counter to wait while this young lady was putting her wallet away. There were other people including me waiting in the line and this employee never acknowledged any of us. After waiting for a while, I left. The whole time she looked so angry as she hates to work there. Starbucks needs to train their employees better, this is so unprofessional and unacceptable! I will never go back to this place again, you can get your Starbucks inside Target which is right next door and staff are more professional.

Serenity was awful. She wasn't owning atten during the order when it was only 1 drink. An iced mocha, I asked her not to make the white mocha it happens alot. She was going to give us a hot mocha latte. I told her no I had said iced. She then asked me what goes in it! She argued with me. Then I told her to make the iced. She did and tried to put stuff that doesn't go in it in there and so I told her no n she tried to hand us the drink n said we r out of mocha right now. She could've said that before she made it. There's some amount of something brought in the bottom of the cup n ehat looks like cinnamon in the drink and cookie crumbles n my daughter can't have regular cookies n gluten containing foods. N claimed there was mocha sauce in it but the drink is white n looks nasty.

Ordered on the app ahead, supposed to be ready by 4:33 p.m., was really ready at 4: 39pm because the girl with aqua hair and piercings was hanging in the corner with her boyfriend talking. Didn't pay attention to my order until I stood at the counter staring at them. The boyfriend looked at me and told her. This is bad for customers who want service.

I walk up today to order my coffee and the 2 ladies that were working acted like I was bothering them, one was sweeping and the one was sitting on the floor. The girl on the floor asked me what I wanted as she continued to sit on the floor. She got up to ring my order in the preceeded with her personal conversation. 👎🏾

Every morning that I walked in and ordered, this lady has been so polite & profesional. I really need to get her name. Hands down the best barista!

I recently started grabbing coffee here since the grocery store has more produce choices than the store 2 doors down. Every morning that I walked in and ordered, this lady has been so polite & profesional. I really need to get her name. I forgot to grab something from the grocery store and she was starting to make my drink. This girl waited until I came back to make my drink!! Not to mentioned it was the best flat white I ever had. Hands down the best barista!

Bad coffee
I sent my partner to get me a caramel ribbon crunch frappe with Java chips and once they brought it back to me I noticed it wasn’t made correctly on top of him being charged for the wrong drink, they went back to the establishment to get it fixed and the second time the drink was STILL incorrectly made. A frappe is a blended drink and the young lady behind the counter filled the cup up less and halfway with regular coffee and the rest of the way with caramel and whipped cream and she still didn’t add the Java chips even though we were charged for it. Unfortunately we did not get the young lady’s name as she wasn’t wearing a name tag all I have is a description. A Caucasian woman looking to be in early to mid twenties with glasses, about 5’4, on the heavier side, with brunette hair and low speaking voice. This young woman does NOT need to have a job in customer services especially not at Starbucks, I’d like to speak with corporate. I added pictures of the first incorrect drink and the second incorrect drink. She acted as if she was inconvenienced by us asking her to do her job and was incredibly rude to my partner.

I'm not sure who the woman is behind the counter but I'm not sure that this position is right for her. This is not the first time that I've come to this location that she seemed like she was being overly inconvenienced before she even greeted me to place my order. Today, I thought things would be different but boy was I wrong. I came in and saw her coming back to the counter from the general store area. Me knowing her "Debbie Downer" demeanor, with a smile on my face I spoke, she kept walking, putting things under the counter and as she stood up, she closed her eyes and began rubbing her thumbs and index fingers together; to "woosah" I guess and then came back to the register and looked at me. By this time, I'm irritated and confused. She hadn't had any customers. And I had literally just walked to the counter to be made to feel as if I was inconveniencing her. I left and went to the Starbucks inside of Target and waited until they opened at 8am. This girl needs some training or some mental health assistance. Or maybe a little bit of both. I won't be back after today. People have bad days and that's understandable, but this lady has a dark cloud over her everytime and it's unacceptable service from Starbucks.
