I would leave zero stars if I could. This place really needs to rethink their service option . Not to offer Togo go orders is absolutely stupid. There are times that Togo orders is very necessary. I dont care how good the food is, you need to have a Togo option period. This is the dumbest thing I can see in this time not good.

I was excited to try Tex & Shirley's but it was a disappointment. I stopped in for a quick simple 3 item hot breakfast with a latte. The egg was not cooked to order and was cold. No heat at all. The pancake was cold. No melting butter on this one! The bacon was also cold and fatty. One positive was the hot latte in a big mug! I expressed my disappointment to the waitress and it took far too long for her to return with a new receipt showing a 50% discount. She told me I should have said something and they would have provided a new meal. The golden rule is hot food should be served hot! Every order is important no matter how big or how small please get it right the first time. Nothing photo worthy here.

Service while pleasant, sort of sketchy. The sandwich a turkey club was tasty but lacking in content. The turkey was a slice about 2 mm thick, virtually non-existent. The price was for a thick sandwich. Lots of other placed where one gets five times as much meat for same price.

The food was amazing. The service was great. My only issue was with a guy that seem to be a local… how do I know he was a local who comes in often? Well because he came in behind us storm by and said to make some damn room. Walked straight to the front of the line. Told the waitress his name and total amount of people with him which was him and his two kids. He then went straight to the bar area. The sad part is that it seemed normal to everyone. So everything the restaurant could control they did great it was super busy today which was a Sunday. It was just the one guy who kind of caused an issue.
We got omelettes. The hash browns were fantastic

This place didn’t disappoint at all. First time at this Tex and Shirley’s was 2 weeks ago. Then returned last Friday. We used to go to the Tex and Shirley’s in high point but, it closed last year. I really enjoyed my omelette and pancakes. The service was also great. We had to wait but, we were seated well under the time wait time. The place is clean and serves really good breakfast!

The wait was reasonable for how busy they were on a Sunday morning. The staff was friendly, the restaurant clean and maintained.

The pancakes were delicious!

I love local places like Tex and Shirley's. However, T&S holds a special place in my heart. T&S has been a staple breakfast restaurant in the Triad since the 80s (at least). Although the venue has changed T&S still offer great food at affordable prices. The wait staff is incredibly attentive, also. This place is high in my family rotation of local breakfast places. Worth the wait. Highly recommend!
