Only visited a couple of times but food and customer service were good each time. Nicely decorated dining area.

Good food spiced to your request. The main courses were brought out almost immediately after the soup, so if you prefer more leisurely pacing, order accordingly. I suggest requesting prig nam pla, a Thai condiment that's not on the menu, but it will add flavor and spice to your dish, and endear you to your server.

Without a question the biggest disaster I have had in decades. My wife and I arrived early evening with only 30% of the tables in use at best. We ordered an appetizer and a bowl of soup with our entre. We waited and waited and finally I received my soup and entre and we asked about the appetizer and the only thing the waitress said was we are very busy. Then after a while we got the appetizer and we were told again after asking about my wife's food we are busy. So, after a bit I walked back to try and find someone, food untouched to tell them we were leaving having not received my wife food.

Thai Square delivers consistent flavor and quality. Ordered takeout for dinner and everything was fresh, well seasoned, and packaged well. The balance of spice and flavor was on point. Order was ready on time and service was smooth. A reliable go-to for Thai cuisine.

This is the best Thai I've had in the Greensboro area. Somebody recently recommended it so I gave it a try with some friends and we all loved it. Nice atmosphere as well. I went with a friend that's from Thailand and he felt it was very authentic. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been here a few times now, and even though some of the staff greets you with the enthusiasm of a teenager being told to clean their room. I don’t even care. Still, the food is great. Huge portions, great prices, and a 20% military discount!
If you don’t like spicy, be careful with some dishes. I’m pretty sure I saw a dragon in the kitchen preparing them. You’ve been warned! To survive the heat, I recommend the Thai tea or ginger tea; they are perfection.
The portions are so huge I have to share with my husband, which is the only thing keeping me from needing a wheelbarrow to get to the car.
Those dish is a 'Chef’s Kiss': The Mango Fish is a flavor explosion. The Tamarind Duck is 10/10, spot on. The Tom Kha with the seafood/coconut milk is a hug I didn't know I needed. And the Gyoza and Spring Rolls, they’re my favorite.
I’ve never actually seen the dessert menu because I’m always at maximum capacity by the end, but I’ll keep trying! The restaurant is clean, and despite the 'chilly' greeting, this is hands-down my favorite Thai spot in the area.

I’ve been there about four or five times. Never was disappointed. The reviewers sound like they’re looking for a five star restaurant. Then they complain that dinner prices for Double the size is too expensive. Go up the street to imperial Koi, which is complete garbage, is five times more expensive. This place is wonderful. I love the food. I have recommended a lot of people to come here. People that live two hours away come here all the time. You should go during lunch. It’s a little cheaper. The food sizes are a little smaller and they are absolutely delicious. As one of the reviewers said that the pad Thai is mushy with chicken and they knew this. Why would you buy that if you knew that pad Thai gets mushy with chicken? I wish people would’ve made honest reviews because most of these seem ridiculous. I love this place. It’s a small restaurant, always busy, They can be understaffed, however they are quick and efficient. There’s usually only 2 to 3 people on the floor, which is fine for the size of the restaurant. So yes, there might be some disorganization for some of these Karen reviewers. I’m usually impatient, however, I get lost in the food here to even care what’s going on. The tamarin duck is amazing. I think it’s called the mango. Fish is awesome. There’s a coconut soup that is amazing. I’ve never had a problem with any of the rolls. I haven’t tried everything yet, but I’m pretty sure there might be one or two things that I might not like. But it doesn’t mean that they’re not good for others. Again, if you don’t want to spend a whole bunch of money on really good food, go there during lunch hours. Again, I love this place. When you can get two appetizers, a bowl of Seafood coconut soup, Ginger tea, and a Thai tea to go at $36 for two people and your stuffed, That’s incredible. But people rather go to a restaurant that sells bread with cheese on the top that’s undercooked give them five star review and I Would rather eat an MRE, for two pieces and a beer, it cost the same as this.

UPDATE JANUARY 14 2026. THOUGHT WE’D GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY TONIGHT, WITH TAKEOUT. IF YOU LIKE RAW CHICKEN, THAT’S WHAT ONE OF OUR DISHES CONTAINED. NOT HAPPY. SEE PHOTO.
We usually like this restaurant. Tonight for dinner, I was by myself, and ordered lobster Pad Thai. I didn’t expect the lobster to be great, and it certainly wasn’t, but the pod Thai was drenched in sauce, and was way too rich to begin with. Here’s my gripe: I ate a perhaps 20% of what was on the plate, and the waitress says, do you want me to put it in the box? I said, no, I didn’t like it very much. She said, oh, sorry, and handed me the check. I thought that was pretty weak, and a poor way to handle it.

Very clean, well decorated restaurant. I got the Chicken Pad Thai as an entreé, and Squid, Crispy Rolls, and Crab Rangoon as appetizers. Each plate was delicious and the presentations were beautiful. The menu all sounds good, I'll definitely be back to try more.
