Wonderful customer service started at check-in and continued throughout the stay! The Bistro morning staff 3/19 was warm and welcoming! Very clean rooms, close to downtown and interstate. Only took 10 minutes to get downtown all weekend which was nice. Parking was great, you can park on whatever side of the property you are staying on. Would stay again!

Here for a 4 week work deployment. I travel a lot for business and am loyal to the Marriott Brand, currently Titanium Elite status. Was offered no upgrade at check-in, was not provided complimentary water, nor was I asked about how points or meal credits. This wouldn’t matter because hotel is currently being renovated and therefore the bistro area is non-operational. Hotel staff are friendly enough, but the hotel itself needs work. Rooms are only cleaned once per week…yes week. May we stop using COVID and staffing shortages as an excuse to not pay for housekeeping services? I’d have been okay with even every other day service, but when spending thousands of dollars for a stay I expect my room to be freshened more frequently than once a week (and without having to ask for that to be done). My biggest complain though….the sound proofing. My room was set up to bge an adjoining suite. The hotel placed a family with children in the connected room and it sounded like the children were IN MY ROOM. I don’t blame kids for being a bit noisy, and in this case it truly was the lack of any type of soundproofing. Basic conversation could be heard through the door. I asked hotel staff Id so could be moved to a more distant room and was advised that 83 rooms were offline due to construction. 83 rooms! No ability to move due to bookings the next day? I expect more from Marriott.

The bistro was closed for the entire eight days of my stay as there was a problem with the water supply. Nevertheless the room rates were not adjusted. Room was comfortable although only serviced once throughout my entire stay. It seems to be the norm now after Covid but hotels continue to use this as an excuse to not service the rooms on a daily basis still charge the same nightly rates. The staff were great and could not be faulted. Great location.

The hotel has an odd set up where it is almost like 2 separate buildings. The one we were in was basically on top and facing an extremely busy street and it was very very loud. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and plenty of shopping but I would not stay here again unless I was in the other building.

Recently met a buddy in Greensboro to catch up and we stayed at this delightful hotel. The lobby area is quite nice with multiple seating areas with a fireplace and some dining and drink options are available as well. There’s a nice courtyard with a pool that was not in use this time of year but there was a nice outdoor gas fireplace with seating to gather around. The decor/colors of the place have been updated fairly recently and overall look quite nice. The staff was quite pleasant, rooms and grounds were very clean and overall the noise level of the hotel was very low. Starbucks coffee and food options are available for breakfast in the lobby. Great location in Greensboro, friendly staff, nice amenities and very nice rooms.

It was an ok stay. There was nothing special or noteworthy about my stay. It was as basic as staying in a Holiday Inn Express. I booked this hotel over the others in the area because they have a 'bistro' instead of just the same 'ol continental breakfast. However, the 'bistro' was out of everything I seemed to order on the menu and I ended up with "well whatever you do have, I'll take that". Even though they served Starbucks coffee, I had to walk over to the actual Starbucks for anything that wasn't 'drip' coffee. Overall, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Not a single issue with the room so I consider it a decent stay. I look for four things when I stay at a hotel. Am I safe? Is the room clean? Is the bed comfortable for me to get good sleep? AND What's for breakfast? They met 3 of the 4. If you do stay here there is a plethora and yes I said a plethora of restaurants and other places to eat in the area.

This is our go-to stop en route from NYC to Charleston. The location is perfect - easy access to the interstates and with plenty of options for dining - including several you can walk to. They welcome our little dog too - he gets all the attention!! Only drawback is that twice now there have been no luggage carts available in the very early morning - staff says that people take them into their rooms overnight. That’s a bad practice they should do something about. It made for two very inconvenient and unnecessary mornings! Other than that though, we love it. Heading back in a few days too!

Wonderful hotel. The staff were so warm and professional. The room was just as we hoped: feather free. Fitness center is surprisingly large. But again, it was the staff that made the stay perfect. We got snowed in with snow and freezing rain, and they kept the lobby clean and great the sidewalk.

From start to finish TERRIBLE!!!!!! arrived at the hotel worst experience. cold never understand the black girl at the hotel desk. she gave me a key with nothing written on it .. well what am I supposed to do try every room to see which one was ours. Had to go back and have her tell us the correct room. got to the room and the thermostat would not work. called 3 times and someone was supposed to come and look at it. NO one showed up to check it .... HOT all night long!!!!!!!!! only 6 channels on the TV .. No coffee in the morning ... wanted to charge for everything. I will never be back and advise anyone not to go. Total miserable evening. No thing seem to be sanatised.

Hotel is nice, grounds are clean. The staff is fantastic, especially Christopher, Miss Betty, Mary Ellen and Richard. Made our week's stay a delight. Many restaurants within walking distance. Pet friendly with a very clean pet relief area. Rooms are spotless, water pressure is plentiful. Unique design on the shower, large area. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

The hotel is nice. Rooms are nice. The sink is outside of the bathroom which can be helpful. The tv is large and the bed is comfortable. The gym is good. It has 4 treadmills, weights and two elliptical. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel and within walking distance.

This was a wonderful stay. I was there for an extended time with my company and was very comfortable. The rooms are small but spotlessly clean. Very sleek and modern-felt recently updated. The lobby is beautiful with a Starbucks, a bar and plenty of seating. Housekeeping was difficult to get but I know that's a thing in the post covid world, and the the staff was always helpful and lovely getting anything I needed. The courtyard area is so cute and relaxing. You are walking distance from every possible chain restaurant imaginable. The only con is it is right on the highway so if you have an outward facing room, the traffic can get loud, but I rarely found it to be too bad to handle. The gym was also really nice. Would be happy to stay here again.

We waited 6 hours to be checked on. We originally had suites reserved suites but was put into regular rooms because they were "sold out" and "running late" The room was disgusting. It smelled very bad (like rotten fish smell) and was not cleaned properly. There were spots on the chair and was not vacuumed. Very disappointing, our company was staying here for several weeks and was renting the meeting space.

The hotel has a Starbucks inside! There are bums at literally all of the surrounding hotels but not this one. I'm not sure why, but they stayed away. The hotel was clean, beds comfortable, room was spacious enough for 4 of us for 1 night. Had a nice dinner right across the street at Tripps.

Property is well located near I40 with plenty of options for food and shopping if needed. Hotel is clean and renewed with excellent public spaces - multiple lobby areas to congregate, watch TV, fireplace, outdoor fire pit (in a courtyard). Lobby Bistro has Starbucks coffee, lattes etc. Food and bar offerings are adequate for this type of hotel. Staff is very friendly. King bed with pullout (twin) is a bit cramped by doable. Bathrooms have been updated with walk in showers (tight if you are a bigger person). Recommend asking for a room away from Wendover Avenue as emergency vehicles fly up and down all day and night with sirens blaring. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here if visiting the area.
