Food was not worth the price. The waiter didn’t check on us after we got our food and only when we got their attention. Also gave a stank attitude.

Everyone has bad days and that’s okay but today was unacceptable and it was my first time eating there so it left a bad impression. Me and my boyfriend came in at about 7pm and the waiters were all sitting at the bar, soon as the host asked them about seating us they started arguing about who would do it (red flag number one). Another host sat us and we waited ten minutes for the waiter to take our drink order, he came at the last second because we were really about to get up and leave (red flag number two). After the drinks he got our orders, but when the food came out, our orders were wrong and had to get sent back (red flag number three). The restaurant was not busy so this was a very disappointing experience; the food however, was still good, so I will give the food a good rating. I know there’s a belief that a certain “group” of people don’t “tip well” but me and my boyfriend do, and the waiter missed out on a $30 tip because of the poor service. I don’t like confirmation biases, I think servers in general need to reevaluate their mindsets.

Let me tell you from silent travel to all of you. I had to go back to my old stomping ground in Greensboro when I heard they had a juicy crab. I had to see it for myself because it was not there when I went to school there but it is a blessing to see it there. I am happy to say and I can officially say this is one place you better not skip out on when you come back to the g-boro the crab is juicy. The meat is nice and tender. I mean it's just melts in your mouth. I serve very nice to look at very hospitable and very easy to work with. Love the recommendations and I think all of them do a really good job making sure you feel it okay. Just make sure you bring your appetite and get you a set of oysters. It'll set you on fire. Thanks to stop and buy and checking it out

Restaurantji Recommends
This was such a disappointment. They didn't have but one waiter Sunday afternoon. We all had crab legs. Once we finally got our food they didnt give us anything to Crack the legs with! We waited ten minutes or more after finding the waiter, who told us he would have to ask the manager! Then brought one Nutcracker for 3 people! No little forks at all like are also usually given to eat snow crab legs. The seasoning on our food was wrong as well. Very few customers were even there. The waiter was pleasant, and the food was edible.

So sorry to report that I can't go back to Juicy Crab on Wendover. First of all, the outside of the restaurant is in need of serious maintenance. The grass has not been cut, there was debris everywhere, and overall just rundown. Second, the smell as soon as you walk in is less than appealing. It is seafood, so you wouldn't expect roses. But, it smells like it is in serious need of ventilation and a deep scrub. The floors are dirty, flies everywhere, and the chairs were oily and nasty. I also had to remove a dead mosquito from the booth we were sitting in. Lastly, the food....just no. I got the juicy special sauce and my bag included crab legs, mussels, corn, shrimp, and potatoes. The sauce was not at all flavorful. If you go to Red Crab on Gate City at the same time, 6:30pm, there is a wait and line outside the door. This place seats you right away with plenty of room to spare. I guess others already knew what I had to learn. The entire place needs a real upgrade. My waitress was super sweet. But my trie recommendation is to just go to Red Crab on Gate City instead.

I'm from ENC. I moved to the Triad 3 years ago. I've driven by The Juicy Crab countless times. I've been trying to find a seafood restaurant that knows how to fry seafood. Sorry not sorry- y'all don't know how to fry seafood up here. Anyway. My 74 year old father, 21 year old daughter, and I wanted seafood, so I suggested we try The Juicy Crab. I did not know it was basically just a seafood boil restaurant until we saw menus. We said what the Hades and decided to try it. Dad got the fried oyster basket. He said they were really good and would come back for them again. My daughter and I did boils. O.M.G. Sooooo good!!! We even tried the crawfish. After we looked up a video how to eat them on YouTube. My daughter had fun skipping table manners and eating with her hands. My Dad was laughing at us. We had a great time and all agree we will be back 🫶

Didn’t go in
It was not good. I could not eat the catfish because it does not taste like catfish. It had a funny taste. Non of the food was seasoned. This was my second time trying this place. Unfortunately I will not go back.
