The owner and staff were so friendly. They walked around and greeted everyone, br8ng crayons and candy to children. The crab legs were sweet and the hush puppies were golden brown.

Meal is usually wonderful however the last 2 Fridays my food has suffered today I spent almost $ 50 and most of our food was not edible. The fish was like a crackling and cold. I also waited 50 min on my food and since I ordered online of course they couldn't do anything about the condition of the food because I didn't look at it at the restaurant. But how could I when she just put it in a bag and moved on to the next order?

This was the worst experience with food yet. We had it delivered by door dash and they did well with that. Shout out to door dash. I ordered the 3 combination; my scallops were slimy with the batter off of most of them, fried oysters were really wet, I can't even begin to explain the shrimp. My husband ordered fried croakers and the fish was old, dark, not fresh at all, didn't get the shrimp we paid 7.75 for, sent him fried okras instead.The other part of this was no one would answer the phone so we could make this right. 68.47 was what we could not eat. I got the pictures to prove it. Hate I had to post such a negative review, but you got to do better people. I will definitely dispute this payment. We work hard for ours. We tried to support your business. ? ??

SMH ?..I had not been to this restaurant in a long time due to a bad experience with staff and food from a previous visit in mid 2023. Well fast forward to 2024, I decided to stop by because I had a taste for some fish and shrimp I thought I'd give them another try. Now prior visits to Tides Inn would get you a nice sized portion of food. Well, boy was I surprised this time. First off, the food was *wayyyyyy* more expensive and the taste of the food was terrible. I should have known something wasn't right when there wasn't hardly anyone in the restaurant. Please save your money unless you wanna be disappointed!!! ?
