First off, me and my man came here twice with just recently being the second time. The first time I had the chicken Cajun pasta which honestly to me was very bland very disappointing. Then a few days ago we went back because my man loved their fried shrimp and fish. I got the Lemon pepper chicken with mushrooms and broccoli. It was my first meal of the day and I ad no complaints…. Until we left and I immediately felt so sick had to use the restroom.This food gave me a stomach flu or food poisoning. This was two days ago and I’m STILL sick in my stomach. Yall hype this place up so much I will NEVER eat this food ever again🗑️

Remodel looks good, staff nice and prime rib at noon on a Saturday made my crowd happy. My filet was ok but overcooked and dry but I was really disappointed by the mashed potatoes. They were gluey and like paste like an electric beater was used vs a masher.

Open seating with booths and tables. Similar to Sports Bar. Can get loud when busy. Service is excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. Also, they keep your dri KS topped off, without waiting for you to empty existing drink. Food was Great...had scallops and it is EASY to overcook scallops. These were perfect...pasta was on point, salad was fresh and crisp. Plenty of dressing, on the side, for those inclined to drench their greens. Overall, great job, and highly recommend.

My family and I just dined at Tripps on 4402 West Wendover Avenue in Greensboro, NC and I had a terrible experience. I ordered the Parmesan Encrusted Chicken entree and when I took a bite of my chicken it was chewy and tough. When I cut up the rest of my chicken breast, the chicken was pink. I immediately ask my waitress for the manager. When the manager came to the table she seem very hesitant to rectify the situation. I told her that I would like to order something else and she proceeded to go get a menu along with my waitress. The manager to my surprise came back and tried to defend the cooking of the chicken. She started to say that in between the chicken breast the meat can be a little pink. I stopped her right there and explained to her that I am an avid grill master and have worked at several restaurants and what was on my plate was undercooked chicken. I was so upset, I informed the waitress to take my meal completely off the bill and that I no longer wanted anything to eat there. I am a North Carolina A&T graduate and whenever we are in Greensboro we try to eat at Tripps. Needless to say, my family and I will no longer dine at this Tripps again not only because my chicken was undercooked but because the manager failed to acknowledge my concerns appropriately and take the correct action immediately. Instead of addressing my concern properly she insulted my intelligence and tried to say that’s how chicken breast can be at times. My check number was 4857, my server was Nina F./422 and we were at table 33.1. We checked out at this Tripps at 4:17 pm on 8/17/25. I have my receipt and will be calling the corporate office during office times on Monday August 18th.

Burgers were great. Chicken and mushroom dish was pretty good. Service was excellent.
At Tripps, we had a terrific time. Our server was prompt in taking drink orders, and even though we were a party of six, we were seated immediately. Everything from the bread to the appetizers to the main courses was delicious. There was a mistake in the food I ordered, but they fixed it quickly. Jim, the manager, even publicly apologized for the problem. We had a terrific experience and received fantastic service, so I will most certainly be returning.

Clean restaurant with excellent service from Wyatt. Only myself and one other. We both got salads; fresh with plenty of goodies in the salad. Dressing is served on the side which is nice.
