I have noticed the last couple of visits the quality of Tripps has declined greatly. This last visit was very disappointing. The prime rib was ok, but the service was poor. The entree came out in less than 10 minutes but the server didn't bring out the salad until after the food was delivered. I said it was too late for the salad. There was no apology or offer to take the salad home. No manager to check on our table. Keep in mind the restaurant was nearly empty at a regular dinner hour.
If you go to a nice restaurant, you have certain expectations that you think protocols are in place. It seems there is less and less training of how to be a server and how to care for your customers, as well as good managerial staff. The food quality is ok but when the service is poor, it brings the overall quality of the restaurant down. If the food was spectacular then you might overlook a mistake or lack of service. Not the case anymore at Tripps.
the seating was quick but that was pretty much the only good thing about this place. we didn’t wait that long for our food but when we got it it was absolutely terrible. we got the California club and it tasted terrible and dry. i got the chicken gordon bleu and it was disgusting. and another person got a side salad and even that was bad somehow. the potato salad was half frozen and it tasted like plastic the bacon bits were really cold. and last but not least we got the tripps trio and the chicken was barely cooked the shrimp was gross and it didn’t taste like shrimp and the spring rolls tasted like fake meat.
The food and service were great. Everyone that was working was friendly.
Got to go orders. Burger was dry. Fries tasted like the grease hadn’t been changed in weeks (damp with grease and tasted old). Best thing about the meal was the honey mustard. The pasta was fine. 1 out of 10 do not recommend. Disappointed was expecting better.

We went in a group of 5 on Friday. There was no line. I ordered ribeye steak for $30, it comes with salad and baked potato with sour cream and butter. It was a bit salty but the meat was tender and delicious. Baked potato tasted good too. Coke was free refills. Waiter lady was nice.
I brought my family here Wednesday while traveling through the area, and we had a great experience! Great service by the waitress, the meals came out fast, food tasted great, prices were reasonable, and we were able to get our bill and get back on the road in under 45min-- possibly the best we've ever done for a sit-down dinner anywhere while traveling.
To-Go order was perfect. Separate bags for salad so it’s not hot. Friendly and happy place.
Really good food.

Steaks were either cooked too much or not enough. Found a hair on my plate, didn't want it replaced one hair is enough for me.
