Tropical Smoothie Cafe

First the lady she’s touching her nose then she made the smoothie and the orders is ready she put it in the online order I waited a lot over their with my kids and finally she gived it to me from the online orders area not recommended

Employees all need to be fired and massive retraining. Get the hell off your phone and do your job.

This cafe is ran by lazy teenagers who lack efficiency and supervision. Me and others filled the cafe waiting for smoothies we already paid for on the app, just to watch them serve the walk in customers first 😑
And ontop of that my smoothies weren't not at the quality they usually are, they didn't even have yogurt in them.
Meanwhile, I witnessed many other customers complain about the service as well.
I'll only be going to the wendover cafe from now on!!

Unsanitary, bugs everywhere. Cashier used gloves on register then touched food afterwards. Line out the door.

Ordered two entrees, two smoothies. Entrees came out first, then one smoothie significantly later. Had to ask for the other, then my detox island green finally came out totally flavorless. Just spinach and ice. No mango, no banana, no ginger. Smoothie's too expensive to come out flavorless. And they were too busy to say anything.

This place is so weird now. Every time I go in the employees act like they really hate their jobs. They take forever. They are on their phones. They don't even try to get the orders done timely. Don't greet you. Don't smile at you. The atmosphere sucks.

The cash register was so rude. She also had a baby behind the counter. acting like it was a daycare.

Why isn't Ryan Rivera there anymore? He is such a good employee and he was such a nice person. Every morning I came in to get a smoothie and he knew my order as soon as I pulled up he is a star employee. I don't understand why you got rid of him.

Today, Friday, September 6th I ordered 2 smoothies at separate times (one right after 12:00PM, and another at about 1:30PM) both of which were not enjoyable. The first was a Sunrise, sunset and the pineapple was so overwhelming that I didn't even drink it. The second being a chai banana boost that had so much peanut butter in it that it no longer resembled a smoothie at all. Not sure what happened, but overall very disappointed in both smoothies today.

Placed an Order online yesterday for Pickup. When I got there my Smoothie was done and so i waited for roughly 10 minutes when they decided to tell me that the ovens were not working wo they were unable to fulfill my food order. They were also unable to process my refund. So did I just get screwed or what? I requested a callback from the manager, but that hasnt happened yet either. FINALLY GOT SOMEONE ON THE PHONE AND WAS TOLD THE MANAGER WAS OUT OF TOWN FOR A FEW WEEKS AND IF I WOULD LIKE TO COME BY THEY COULD GIVE ME A REFUND. OK, SO I HAVE TO WASTE MY TIME AGAIN TO COME BY AND GET THE MONEY BACK, ARE THEY GOING TO PAY ME FOR ALL OF MY MISSED TIME AND INCONVIENCE..... AND TO TOP IT OFF THE GIRL WAS RUDE AND DID NOT GET MY NUMBER TO CALL ME BACK...

Visited this location Sunday morning and the teenage manager was rude and the restaurant was a filthy mess as you can see by the photos.

I have been a customer at this store for YEARS. This store used to be the best one. Laid back atmosphere and great customer service. Now, it is absolutely terrible! They are EXTREMELY SLOW making the food and smoothies. They make the smoothies very watery. I have had more than once received watery smoothies. They get an attitude when you ask them to fix it. Example: I ordered a peanut butter cup smoothie and they didn’t even put peanut butter in it. Also, I don’t feel comfortable having my kids in there either because they play rap music with profanity in it. I didn’t like the Wendover store, so now they just lost a customer. If I wanted a watery smoothie, I could get one from the grocery store

The music is extremely loud. Can’t even hear myself talk and it’s not even the good kind of music for families. The smoothie I got was so stiff, couldn’t even get through the straw, but the girls working there are friendly and fast.

Ordered açaí bowl was disappointed not made fresh and is frozen.. service was trash everybody there didn’t seem to be in a good mood / don’t care for job or customers not so friendly. i’ll make sure to go elsewhere for my next smoothie bowl fix next time

I walked in at 7:50. There was one person making two bowls who had his back turned and did not greet me. The woman in front of me had walked in 2 minutes prior. So equally standing around for 5 minutes. Finally an employee comes from the back stating he can only make smoothies. Customer in front of me says that she was there for a door dash, the rude employee making the bowls (short with dreads) turns around and tells her to cancel it. She is confused and says I'm here for a door dash order. He shouts and said "I told you to cancel it, I don't have acai" the woman responds "well I wish you would have said that" and he responds "did you not see me doing something, how do you expect me to tell you if I'm doing something".

He literally allowed for 3 people to walk in did not greet any of us and proceeded to shout at an elderly woman. The poor woman is her age and having to door dash. Have some compassion.

Absolutely terrible experience. Needless to say, I walked out as well.
