THE ABSOLUTE WORSE CAFE I HAVE EVER VISITED. FROM THE WORKERS ATTITUDE TO THE GROSS STORE TO THE HORRIBLE DRINKS. AT LEAST 3 WORKERS TOOK 20 MINUTES TO GET 2 SMOOTHIES AND A SANDWICH NOONE ELSE IN THE STORE THE WORKER KEPT TAKING THE SMOOTHIES OUT OF THE BLENDER AND ADDING MORE LIQUID AS IT WOULDN'T BLEND. THEY BOTH JUST TASTED LIKE WATER AND WAS NOT WORTH 25 DOLLARS AT ALL.

Great service and the food was prepared with integrity and care. One of my favorite locations! I like being on a college campus at times so this was perfect. My family of 5 had seating at the smoothie bar, special thanks to the young ladies who served us! 🫶🏾

1st time trying Tropical Smoothie Cafe today 6/6/25. Wish I could say I was greatly satisfied but I wasn't, unfortunately. I ordered $32 with of food and one of those items was the Acai Bowl With Nutella. The bowl had no Nutella or Honey drizzle as indicated in the description of ingredients. I asked to add mango and peanut butter drizzle, which I did receive. I tried to call so they could rectify my order... no one answers. I get it, mistakes happen but how do you miss 2 main ingredients and one being the name of the bowl NUTELLA. Overall, this bowl was decent but not great, without the Nutella and honey. I would pay a picture to support but for some reason I can't. I'll just stick to where I normally go.

The absolute worst! Ordered my smoothie and was the only customer, the girl got off the register and started doing something on her phone. After 10 minutes of playing on her phone she finally made my order...this younger generation is COOKED!!! You applied for the job..do some work that's what you get paid for. This location is dead to me!

Almost every thing was wrong, forgot our ranch and the 11 dollar smoothie tasted like ice with purple food coloring. Don't waste ur money.

I have never had an experience so egregious as the experience I'm currently having with the Tropical smoothie location on Gate City blvd. I ordered online over 3 weeks ago and I go in to pick up and they made what they wanted and told me with a shoulder shrug well we don't have the ingredients. Fine I request my money back and the answer was I can't my manager is not here. I was told it would be back on my card in 3 to 4 bus days. It has been almost a month that right a month. I have called the store which goes to a voice-mail saying this mailbox is full and can not except messages. I have reported in the app several times, called corporate several times filed a complaint several times and I am just dismissed. I do not have product or my money if this is they you all treat your customers your establishment needs to be shut down. The staff that operates this establishment are beyond unprofessional, loud vulgar music blasting bonnets on their head on any giving day it is a disgrace. The uncleanness of the establishment is outrageous the health department needs to show up and bolt these doors. The owners obviously have no desire in fixing these issues just look at the numerous reviews online it shows. Same complaints over and over. At no point should I have to BEG a company who wronged me to stand upright and fix their issue. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK NOW!!

For 2 consecutive times, I have ordered the same order from here thru GrubHub. Both times, the restaurant did not give the driver my smoothie that I paid for. The fact this has happened twice is ridiculous.

I was craving for Tropical Smoothie Cafe and this was close by. It’s the filthiest cafe I’ve ever been to. The workers look unhappy with their jobs as well. They definitely need to hire someone to clean the place .

The GM Lashonda was amazing. Very professional and hospitable. She fixed my order quick and efficient with such a kind spirit while doing so. She made my experience very pleasant. The hummus veggie wrap and pomegranate plunge smoothie was delicious. My go to order.

I wouldn’t recommend this location. Customer service is horrible. A few days ago I came to this exact location to pick up a DoorDash order, when i walked in i wasn’t greeted or anything. The young female had a very nasty attitude (rolling her eyes, lip stuck up like she smelled something). She didn’t even have on the proper work attire, I’m sure no job allows you to wear ripped jean shorts all the way up to your butt that she had to keep pulling down so they wouldn’t rise and show her cheeks.

I decided to give this same location another chance. Horrible customer service again. This time the lady looked like she was maybe in her mid thirties, still no greeting didn’t really acknowledge me at all. I stood at the counter for a good 5 minutes until she took my order. I ended up get a Açai bowl I switched the blueberries out for pineapples. The pineapples were old you can tell by the picture look and the color of them, my strawberries were old too. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Fresh quick service. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread and by the time I turned to sit down it was ready. Great job!

Parking: Parking was ok. People going to the bank next door was the issue.
