I recently visited Trust Restaurant and Bar in Greensboro, NC, with high hopes but was met with a series of disappointments. Despite making a reservation, our party was not immediately accommodated upon arrival, leaving us without a place to wait comfortably. The atmosphere was less than professional, partly due to the owner's children running around the dining area without shoes, waiters walking up and downstairs with customers food with no covering of the plates, walking through groups of people waiting. This allowed food to become contaminated with elements in their environment. All which detracted from the dining experience.Additionally, the lack of a seating management system meant we were left in the dark about how long we would have to wait, who booked what adding to our frustration. As someone who is always eager to support Black-owned businesses, it was disheartening to feel overlooked and undervalued as Black customers. This experience highlighted the critical importance of customer service and professional conduct in business.It's essential for businesses, especially those within our own community, to uphold a standard of respect and professionalism towards all customers, irrespective of background.Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit to Trust Restaurant and Bar. The interaction felt emblematic of a broader issue I've encountered of inconsistent treatment based on us being black customers, which is particularly disheartening when it comes from within the Black community.In closing, while I am an advocate for supporting Black-owned establishments and understand the challenges they face, it's crucial for the success and longevity of these businesses to maintain a high standard of customer service and professional etiquette. I hope Trust Restaurant and Bar can address these issues, as I believe in the potential of all businesses to grow and improve.

This was my second time visiting Trust and although I love the vibe, music, the DJs interaction with the customers, the staff are not very pleasant. But besides that, the site clearly states you should make a reservation to ensure you have a table. I made a reservation for 5ppl and waited 45 minutes to be seated. There’s no area to sit and wait for your table, so we stood at the entrance the entire time looking like fools.The front desk person told us it would be 10 minutes and then she was going to clean the table herself and never came back. A waitress came and told us the reason there’s no table because they didn’t want to ask people to leave. if you can’t accommodate the time I reserved then you shouldn’t have reservations. This happened on both of my visits. There also did not seem to be any type of seating chart upfront so there was no way to tell which tables were full and for how long.We ended up having to leave and find another spot and no one even apologized so what upset me is that my group had very limited time to spend together and it was a special day for us. One of those hours was wasted standing and then driving to find a secondary spot. It’s the non-consideration that really pushed us away. If you want your business to succeed, then y’all need a new business plan.Also, there was no parking so we parked across the street and literally had a dodge cars in heels to run across the street to get to your establishment…. Just have to leave without being serviced.

I will never tell anyone about this place it is horrible. First of all I had a reservation at 3:00, which I never got seated. Second of all the guy who I kept talking to did not apologize and he was like nonchalant, like I was getting on his nerves. So I had to finally find another place for my party of 12 to go and eat. This was a waste of my birthday mess with this facility. If you just want to go for the music then go, but if I was you go the other direction.

My waitress TOOK forever. Forgot about me several times. She was a beautiful soul, but i was so famished that i know i waited an additional 40 minutes until someone checked back in. Waitress indicated there was no chicken, but I found out that there was indeed chicken.When the chicken came omg it was awesomeFries were cold, but fresh fries were dropped immediately. Service managers were awesome, It was wonderful. When I finally got it.Omg, that honey old bay was great.
