Vignette Coffee Roasters is everything a local coffee shop should be: welcoming, creative, and deeply community conscious. You can feel the care and craftsmanship in every detail, from the friendly staff to the thoughtful menu. I tried the Banana Matcha and it was absolutely amazing.
We also buy their roasted blends for home, and I can say with complete confidence that Vignette is the best roaster and coffee shop in town. It’s a space that celebrates quality, creativity, and connection every single time you visit.
Best coffee I've had anywhere.
Adorable spot - friendly service, great choices, and strong delicious iced latte!
By far the best coffee shop in Greensboro. I have tried them all, and this is the best!
Vignette roasts the best coffee in town. Michael and Mandy are true gems and are experts of their craft. They are delightful and so hospitable. Do not go if you’re expecting a quick in and out. They are busy for a reason! But it is 100% worth the wait. If you don’t want to wait, you can buy some beans and make it at home!
The coffee is excellent—truly 5 stars and you can taste the owners’ passion and knowledge. Unfortunately, the wait time was nearly 45 minutes, which really overshadowed the experience. The current system of taking a couple orders at a time and then making them just isn’t practical for how busy the shop is. Hiring extra help or adjusting the workflow would make this place as enjoyable as the coffee itself.
Only the greatest coffee shop ever.
The best coffee you’ll try in Greensboro.
My hot latte was beautifully presented and perfect in the taste👌 Added bonus, welcoming atmosphere!
I had never heard of this place until I happened to pass by and looked it up. I was surprised to arrive to a line of customers coming out the door, apparently the line is usually much longer! I decided to see if it was worth the wait and I have to say it depends. If you’re really into coffee it is but if you’re looking for something sweet and don’t care about quality then maybe not worth a 30+min wait. The staff was very cheerful and nice which I appreciate. I was very impressed that all the flavors/syrups are made in house and I think the milk is homeland creamery. I got a vanilla latte, made with real vanilla bean and bought some coffee beans as well. Loved the latte and this morning I used the beans at home and was very impressed on how good my homemade latte tasted even without the awesome homemade syrups that Vignette has. Will be back again to buy more coffee beans and try something new off the menu :)

If you’d have told me I’d drive over an hour round trip and stand in line for anywhere from 30-60 minutes to buy coffee, I’d have called ya crazy. Vignette is that good and then some.
Vignette offers extraordinary coffee paired with genuine, passionate, and knowledgeable hospitality that’s worth the wait.

My wife and I continue to visit Vignette and consider it not only the best coffee shop in Greensboro but the best coffee shop we’ve ever visited. The owners consistently deliver quality coffee beverages, are friendly and engaging even when super busy, and provide a cozy shop to sit and enjoy.
They are a small shop and roastery with a large impact!
Though there can be a short wait, it is ALWAYS worth it. Drop by and you won’t be disappointed :)
