Impeccable service, attentive without being overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. They really exceed expectations here.

We have eaten at White and Wood numerous times and enjoy the food, service and ambience. For this occasion, it as "Market" in the Triad and the regular menu was transitioned to a fixed price menu. While I understand the business economics behind the transition, it was not something that I wanted. We pivoted and had a charcuterie board and a dozen oysters. Love this restaurant, would have preferred some visibility into the policy prior to reserving for a special occasion.

Nicely varied menu and overall the food was good and presented beautifully, if a little under seasoned. Service was spectacular but the ambiance was lacking - the acoustics were horrible and it was very difficult to hold a conversation without shouting and exacerbating the problem.

This was our first time dining here. We enjoyed the vibe and excellent service. Drinks were well prepared by bartender and the charcuterie selections were unique and favored. Great hospitality shown by host and servers. Overall entree presentation was very nice but food is lacking flavor, especially salt. Dishes were nicely cooked and prepared but seasoning was lacking on shrimp dish and salmon. Need more attention to seasonings to take food to the next level. Both my wife and I shared our thoughts which were quite similar.

My wife and I were a party of six last evening prior to attending a play. Positives: the server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He knew his stuff and that was appreciated. Areas of improvement. We thought $24.00 for a burger and tater tots was extremely overpriced. The tater tots were not even hot, and the seer on top of the bun was more of a burn into the bun. They were out of all soup. I ordered a salad for dinner and asked if I could have a side or risotto and I was told they did not do this. They basically have no meal options for a vegetarian on the menu. I also ordered tater tots as my only side option, and they were cold for me as well. Others in our party did enjoy their entrees, so their reviews may be different. I will not return based on my experience last evening.

This place is excellent. The food and service are superb. The menu is pricey; however, you're paying for magnificent dining. The duck prosciutto is divine, and their wine list is expansive.

Our third time, food just OK, but not that good for the money. Burger patty was great, bun, toppings, and condiments not so much. Tater tots possibly worst I've ever had. Under cooked, cold, and fell apart whether I used a fork or fingers.

I highly recommend this place if you are into fine dining in Greensboro area! Their service is one of the best I have experienced and my husband and I do love going out and explore different restaurants all over NC and even in another state or outside of USA!

Lovely setting, excellent servers, creative three courses and cocktail. This is the perfect place to go for a special meal before or after a performance at Tanger.

Reservations made for Friday night.Table for 2, nice and comfortable.Looking at the menu, said they have Happy Hour specials. Mr. Leo, our server told us, not on nights with plays, Friday or Saturday. That was odd.He was very nice, and did a terrific job for us, as well as about 4 other tables near us.The price for a 3 course - soup or salad, entree & dessert is $65?, or order ala carte, which we did.Wine selection by the glass, or bottle, cocktails & beer (no taps), all available. Very extensive wine selection with prices ranging from $50-300/ bottle. We opted for glass of wine & canned beer. When our entrees arrived, they had great presentation, and tasty dishes too.The shrimp w heads & skins on, required a sharper knife, which Leo had already taken care of.As the dinner progressed, and the place filled up, could no longer talk over the table, but pulled my chair alongside my partners. A bit loud for us.This is a very nice meal, at a very nice price - check menu if you’re on a budget.

I had skipped lunch so made a very early reservation for dinner. I was first guest this evening. Lovely staff, servers, attractive menu and space, delicious cocktail and food, etc., Walked from nearby historic hotel. Charcuterie board was attractive and delicious. I liked the limited number of food offerings at dinner. I had the three. Purse meal for $65. Great idea!!!

Don't even know where to start with this place, and we even went back a week later for another dining experience! The menu is small, but packed with quality. There's really no other place I've discovered in North Carolina that I was so content with. I loved every minute we spent there. They have an extensive drink menu with many wine options and rather intriguing crafted cocktails. Some items on the drink menu can even be made in a punch bowl for a group of 4-6 (or 2 drunks!) Hah! That gave me a good laugh. Hopefully next time I go I can get to experience that. The cocktails we did order though were delicious!Appetizers of the caviar, burrata, and beef tartare were nothing short of what I had dreamt they would be. I am a big fan of beef tartare and the best part about this one was that it was filet mignon blend! The flavor and delicacy in that had me smiling from ear to ear! The caviar was decadent as well, one of my first few times having caviar and I think it may be time for me to start ordering my own at home for some at-home indulgence. The caviar was served beside an avocado creme fraiche mousse and you are advised to lay those both atop an in-house made truffle chip. Wow, just wow. Very few times I've experienced a flavor bomb like that. The layers of taste and flavor profiles of each selected ingredient was like an award I had been awaiting all of these years. The entrees of the ultimate bacon cheeseburger and the Nashville chicken actually came in a close second out of our first place appetizers. The chicken is served as a giant breast and was tenderized to perfection, this is something I usually don't order so it was nice to have this moment that I decided to do it, it was magical. As I said earlier, we 100% returned and selected a few other items from the menu including sixtysouth salmon and the angus beef petite tender. Naturally, the beef was one of the most tender things I've ever endured. This time around they just so happened to be out of oysters (sigh) and actually had a fairly new spring menu that included meatballs served with foie gras, they were unfortunately out of this item as well (double sigh). That's okay though, with the satisfaction that we had with everything else, we let it slide this time ;).Service was wonderful and attentive, as always. We were seated right away both times (even the first time when we were 45 mins early!) so brownie points added to them. The inside of the restaurant is maximized on all floor area, with a structured layout that utilizes all space that this quality establishment sprawls through. They also provide and open kitchen concept that creates a more inviting atmosphere and amplifies the dining experience. Really want to want the chefs work their magic? Well go ahead and take a seat and the bar that lines the length of the kitchen. Dim lighting and a solid music choice truly make this place the full package.*one thing to note, which I have found out the hard way from people before me, the toilets in the bathroom have a little electronic flusher on the left side that you hold down, so fear not, you are okay. please be courteous to other and flush* LOL.
