Unfortunately the employees thinks service is a laughing matter. When this store originally open the owner use to come to restaurant depot and invite us to visit we loved it there until he left. My fries were cold like someone left their order and they just recycled the fries. The chicken was also cold. They did not give us drinks or the right dressing for the chicken. At $30 please do better or find employees who care. This is a business not an arcade.

This is the best American Deli I have been too. The one on west market street has nets all over the place, and the one on Summit has no burgers and there phone is off. Both of those places are just so unorganized and disgusting with bugs. But, this one is the best one great service from the staff, to the food. Thank yall.

The food is great but the owner is difficult most of the time. There's no point in ordering ahead because they're not going to cook it until you pay for it. The smallest thing extra they will charge you for but 8 out of 10 they left out what you asked for. Always homeless people or abum hanging around outside

I eat here about 2 time a week and yesterday April 1st 2025 I got food poisoning sick af had to throw up for a whole day y’all suck freezer burnt food or old greese something made me sick I’ll never eat at American deli again respectfully

Their food is great! I’ve come here on many occasions at this point, trying many different things on the menu. I personally prefer Tilapia over Whiting at this location. I always get a chef salad. (Iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, banana peppers, green peppers, ham, turkey and cheese) They don’t have a big drink choice but it’s average. (Coke products) They have Tea and juice like fruit punch too. As far as staff, the young ladies up front are great! They both are honest and I appreciate that! The foreign guy, (guess he’s the manager) he’s a tough one. He gives “hurry up and buy” vibes and please know he will tell you off!! He will give you 1 tarter sauce for 2 big pieces of fish. You got 4 chicken tenders? No worries, you still only get 1 dipping sauce, of course that’s if the manager guy is taking or bagging orders. Now I have used their restroom but I will not eat there. The atmosphere is ok I guess but it’s just not my setting of choice.
Parking: The restaurant is located inside of a shopping center. There is ample parking.

Use to come to South Elm St. American Deli and would have decent service. I get honey garlic wings with extra honey garlic and I pay extra for it. Today they charged me $3.50 for the extra which I normally only pay $2 extra, I did not complain I just paid it. Get my order and the extra is not on the wings. I asked them to put extra and the manager world not. He has always added more if it didn't have it. He got huffy and snatched my bag saying you've got extra I'm not giving any more. Again, I PAID FOR EXTRA. I suggest you go to one of the other American Deli and not patronize the one on South Elm St.
