Very, very, very loud and the service is mediocre at best, but the food is absolutely amazing.

Yokai has become one of our favorite dinner spots. Friendly, knowledgeable, down to earth staff; fantastic food and creative cocktails! Everything we want in our eating establishments!

We always love the experience at Yokai. We recently went for their Wagyu + Japanese Whisky. It was our first supper club dinner. The menu was so unique, and I'm still thinking about the foie gras. We love the everyday menu, but the supper clubs and Chef's Takeover nights really keep things interesting and keep us coming back.

Cute date spot but the food was just so-so. I had the ramen but it lacked a flavor and depth. The bao was good, the chicken katsu was good as well.

First time coming, great vibes and customer service however the food was a little to salty for my liking. Would try again maybe a different option next time.

Great atmosphere, good food but terrible service. This place definitely has the potential to be great, but they are truly lacking when it comes to service! The food was pretty good, even though some components were a little bit overcooked. Our server left quite a lot to be desired..
At one point we waited for over 10 minutes to get our glasses of water refilled mind you at this point we were the only people there. Our server disappeared to the back with a customer to do god knows what whilst one of our entrees sat there. The bartender also did not bother to ask if we needed our food whilst it sat there despite him not having anyone at the bar.

Excellent experience. We had raman, one with the normal broth and one subbed with the tiger broth. They were both excellent. The pork gyoza was AMAZING. We didn't order any adult beverages but they seemed to have extensive options.

I loved the small sharable plates style because I got to try so many different things. The cocktails were creative and made with care. The pandan doughnuts are a must! I enjoyed the music, funny bathroom signs, and general ambiance. Our server was very friendly and clearly cared a lot about the place.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants Japanese or Korean inspired crowd pleasers, interesting seasonal cocktails, and good service!

Quickly becoming one of, if not my favorite, places in Greensboro. The menu is original, focused, and obviously delicious but what always impresses me is their consistency. Where other places are hit and miss or have fallen off, Yokai's food and outstanding service never disappoints.

I celebrated my birthday at Yokai and had a great time. The food was great, the service attentive, and the atmosphere really fun. I will definitely be returning. You must try, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks Yokai for making my birthday special.

Went to Yokai for the first time for a friend's birthday dinner. The staff were all very attentive and friendly, willing to answer all our questions. However, there were items listed on their online food menu that were not on their in-store menu. One of them being an item I was planning to order. We had a variety of apps, some that were phenomenal (rangoon dip and tuna wontons) and some that were just okay (kimchi tots). Most everyone enjoyed their entrees - the gochujang burger getting the best review. I got the Tiger noodles since Tteokbokki was no longer on the menu, and it was okay. The broth needed a little extra something to it and there was only one thin slice of tofu. The real pinnacle of our experience was the wide range of delicious and unique alcohol. I had a matcha nigiri and omfg it was so good. Everyone loved their drinks from the Citrus drops to the sake flights. Definitely a drink and apps kind of spot.
