This Restaurant is directly across from Vidant Medical Center. It's in a good location with several other restaurant options. However, they dont act like there's competition in the area. The waitress/ bartender was far from pleasant. I went in to order food after a long day with my friend in the hospital. I was tired but I still walked in with a smile. I found myself greeting the waitress before she greeted me. Granted, she might've had a rough and long day too but she didnt act that way towards anyone else. She walked away before I completed my order then rolled her eyes After I told her I wasn't done. On top of that terrible service, The Carolina burger was incorrect (as far as toppings) and the Steak salad was not as expected. It was like philly steak meat/ steakums. The description stated: Salad mix, GRILLED RIB-EYE STEAK, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, bacon, shredded cheese but the steak was cut up into pieces as small as the bacon bits. Thats not what I want when I see GRILLED RIB-EYE. It was just overall dissatisfying. Would not recommend.

Beware when placing a to-go order from the Angus Grill website for this location. This is the second time in a row (several weeks apart) that they completely ignored the online order confirmation.. and only began making it when I showed up at the “pick up” time. The first time, they said their printer was out of order … and the second time it was just “your order is next up”… making me wait 20 minutes after I showed up. The place was virtually empty at 11:30! Must be a very poorly managed restaurant - which is a shame because I like the food.

I had never been to this restaurant but had seen it as I passed through the area and wanted to try it. Boy was that a mistake! There was a foul smell as we entered the restaurant of spooled food or a sewage backup and the experience didn’t get much better once seated. Our food was bland tasting and overpriced. The service was adequate but we had to request silverware and other basic items. We definitely won’t return.

A solid 4. Not quite 4.5. I need another visit. I will say we underestimated the burgers. We were thinking smash burgers plus the double Patty upgrade was reasonable. My peoples! These are hand pattied 1/4 pound burgers. I can't lie that double patty was banging! Get that!Flavor. Okay. Let me back up. The burgers were juicy. The toppings were appropriate for the burger size. Cheese is melty and gooey. These burgers are not for the cutesy best eaters. Gotta be willing to grab it with too hands,l and get messy! Yes!Back to flavor. The hamburger itself needs just a touch more salt. That woulda set it off! And a shout out to the seeded bun. Nice touch!Ya'll see the fried pickles! They were fresh out the grease. Cornmeal in the breading. This isn't my favorite style but it wasn't too much. Howeve, the pickles were just a little too greasy. The onion rings on my plate weren't as bad so I don't know if the grease wasn't quite up to temp or they didn't drain long enough? BUt don't trip. I do co-sign getting them. The bubba sauce banging! Savannah! You were a wonderful server. We were so indecisive and she has the patience of Job! Ambiance? I mean It was ECU homecoming. The bar side wasn't packed which was great for us.

Whenever my family goes out someone’s food is always disappointing BUT this restaurant had us ALL PLEASANTLY PLEASED and the wait staff is top notch! First time I’ve ever seen my husband tip more than 20%! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The burgers were really good. And their fries are great. Very crispy and fresh. The jalapeño popper burger was the best burger I have tasted in a long time, and it's a good size with a single patty, and a large portion of their fries. We went during the evening when their were not a lot of people, so I cannot speak for the atmosphere with a larger crowd or during a game etc. But we enjoyed it enough to go twice in two days.

Very weird vibes in here. We are fans of other angus locations, this one we won't be back to. Idk if it was the hostess hopping around in her underwear and half t shirt, or her laying all over a guy at the bar, or the super dry and tiny 11 dollar Caesar wrap, or the soggy sweet potato fries, but we will choose other places in the future.
