I am from out of town doing some training. I love supporting local coffee shops and I saw this had a five-point rating on Google. Now I see why this place IS amazing and it's fabulous it's got awesome people it's got VERY awesome coffee that they make. They did a fabulous job and they made my day!!! If you need a great cup of coffee do come to this place, it will not disappoint you! I do have training next week so I will definitely be back for a fact!!!

Only ordered coffee, but the team were great. A coffee shop dedicated to employing those with differences, unique abilities and understanding. We had the warmest greeting on arrival, the most attentive questions in how we wanted coffee and smoothies, and the team had the place relaxed, clean and welcoming. A business depot vibe, could use a splash of colour or plants, but great overall and bought merchandise to showcase also. Keep up the good work.

This coffee shop is one that is very accessible and welcoming for all people! Students at East Carolina University's Occupational Therapy program have helped make sure that the employees all have the tools they need in order to improve skills of their staff, and it shows! The fact that their employees are people with disabilities, it makes it so it is much easier for costumers with disabilities to feel welcome.

Just had a great experience at Awaken Coffee. I have never been here before, but a customer referred me here today. I came in and the staff was nice, the place was clean and the customers looked like they were having a good time.
