This is a great family run restaurant with a very unique concept in Greenville. When you first enter the restaurant you're greeted by Lauren who will show you to your table. A few minutes before service begins, she'll do a brief introduction and explain the 14 course concept and how the courses will be delivered and present you with the option to purchase soft drinks (tea and water are included and you can bring your own wine). She will also explain how you can enter the 14 course club.The first course is on the table when you are seated and then you can order your drinks. There is a menu board is at the front of the restaurant and each course is recorded after it comes out.We thoroughly enjoyed all of the courses, especially the cucumber salad, bruschetta, pork and filet. All of the food was fresh, well seasoned and decently portioned. The servers were very professional and always told us the name of the dish that was being served. The chef even comes out at the end of the meal to chat with the patrons.I would recommend giving the place a try at least once, you will not be disappointed! The total cost is $45 per person.

Lauren was a welcoming hostess, the staff was engaging and attentive and a treat to meet the chef Charlie at end. The food was a good as the experience, yummy meatballs, delicious veal, I could keep going but try it for yourself! We will be back!

Excellent meal. Very friendly atmosphere. After 14 courses, something is guaranteed to raise your eyebrows. The last night I went I was impressed by the freshly made mozzarella and cucumber salad with sweet vinegarette, tender pork slices with a tasty dressing (sort of like an au jus), and the cannoli. Everything else was great, just those stood out.

What impressed us the most was their attention to detail, the owner called us by our names, remembered it was our anniversary, and just made us feel at home. Cucina LaMantia is a great dining experience! It's not much to look at on the outside because it's on the back corner of a strip mall. DO NOT LET THIS DETER YOU FROM EATING THERE!! Dinner starts for everyone at the same time. Once everyone is settled, the hostess introduces herself gives a little history and lays out the general plan for the night. You are served a 14 course meal which changes each week. Food is brought to your table and served family style. You won't know what you are getting until right as it is brought out. Expect the dinner to last about 2.5 to 3 hours. The food is fresh and very well done. Reservations will need to be made weeks in advance. Alcohol is BYOB but there is no corkage fee. I suggest bringing your favorite wine to go with an Italian (Sicilian) meal. This is a family run business and Greenville is fortunate to have this family serving food in our city!

Cucina LaMantia has a wonder and relaxed atmosphere for families, couples and friends. The 14 course meal is deliciously scrumptious! You have to at least eat here once and go back again and perhaps again! You never know what the menu will have in store but it met and exceeded all our expectations for a great dining experience.
