Super disappointed. When we arrive for our reservation, was told the table we were to be seated at still had guests. We’d have to wait for them to leave, they’d already paid but we’re still sitting and visiting. The dining room had several empty tables, especially for a Friday night. When I inquired about the others, was told they were for other guests who also had reservations. I looked around, no one else was at the door or even on the street. When I suggested we be seated at one of those and then when the next guests came in, they be seated at our original table it seemed to blow her mind. She walked away, I assume to check with someone or look at the space, but came back and then seated us. We sat between two other small tables where servers weaved in and out helping other guests. We sat there for 15 minutes never acknowledged by the manager who we saw multiple times, the hostess as she seated other guests or any of the many servers. Never offered water, or a “I’ll be right with you”. We left our table and as we were leaving one sever said cheerfully, “have a good tonight” while the manager and hostess still didn’t acknowledge us. It was hardly busy for a Friday night! The unwelcome vibe began at the door.

Elegant, novel, and indulgent perfectly describe Homage. We shared crab rangoon dip and the lettuce wraps (pictured) and oysters with chorizo and short ribs (not pictured). Very decadent dishes, and given what we ordered it felt a little heavy (next time we're getting the macadamia encrusted mahi 😋). The gin cocktail with lavender foam was absolutely incredible. However, be warned there is a shared plate fee ($7) that was off putting given how much we ordered to share. Overall the vibes were immaculate ❣️

We stopped here for a quick drink as we were visiting from out of town. Although we didn’t try the food, the menu looked delicious so we will be coming back to try that! I had the mountain mama cocktail and my boyfriend had an old fashioned. Both were amazing! I would recommend coming here for a good drink and ambiance!

Diffinantly one of the better dining experiences I've had in Greenville. Fried catfish dish is the best catfish I've had ever. My girlfriend had macadamia crusted mahi which was excellent. We had the tuna poke for an appetizer and it was as good as what we had in Hawaii!

First time at Homeage tonight! Beautiful restaurant with a great feel. Waitstaff was attentive and on point. Mixed reviews on the food. The crab dip app was great! Pear salad delicious! The entrees were where we missed the mark just a bit. My filet and hash had a heavy hand of salt and it just didn’t hit for me. Nothing really special about it. My husband got catfish and grits and he loved it! We got the Apple Betty for dessert and it’s just messy bc it had a frozen ball of ice cream that we couldn’t get our spoon in.So I would skip it! Exhausted fighting it! It is a bit expensive but if they work out the kinks it will be very busy! It’s all about the food taste for us!

This is a restaurant Greenville NC desperately needed. A beautiful upscale dining establishment with a wonderful inviting atmosphere. Our food was delicious! The ribeye was the best steak I have ever had! The sides, appetizers and desert were phenomenal. I will be back and I will be bringing others to experience Homage!

Homage is a gem in downtown Greenville. The ambiance is amazing with lots of character! The food was absolutely incredible. The pork chop was the best I have ever tasted! A delicious meal in a charming atmosphere.....highly recommend.

The food was good but the portion sizes for the prices left you wanting more. The she-crab soup was delicious and came out in a large bowl but there was maybe a ladle worth of soup in it. We were scraping the bottom of the bowl at first bite. Couscous side was underwhelming in flavor, as was the shrimp and grits. That was the whitest bowl of shrimp and grits I’ve ever seen.
The drinks all came out at different times, as did the plates. The service was timely but none of the food came out hot. Mostly warm or room temperature. We got the barrata and fig fritta. The cheese was melted but the entire plate was cooled. Pork chop was perfectly cooked, but again not hot. It was tasty but the portions require that you also buy a side, even though it’s a $40 a plate.
Overall, there’s room for growth. The place is beautiful and staff is attentive. But, for this price point, I expect more. There was nothing of note that makes me excited to try again.
