Had the NC oysters and Greenville hot chicken sandwich, while sitting at the bar solo. The food was excellent…oysters were fresh and the hot chicken was unique and delicious. Both of the bartender staff I interacted with were friendly, polite and patient. I would come back here!
Food was good but we found the choices very limited. Our service was outstanding but not likely we will return due to limited offerings.
Started with beautiful and tasty cocktails and ok oysters. Could have been better or maybe I’m just used to the more chewy European ones. Very good and well-seasoned Cajun shrimp meal with good textured grits and my colleague didn’t complain about the steak he was served. For dessert the pudding was very good and especially the crunchy layer made a good balance.
This is one of Greenville's best restaurants. They know how to make a Manhattan! The oysters in August are in mid season form. Don't miss the banana pudding. Great atmosphere and great food.
We stopped here on our way to Washington, NC and we were being followed by a storm cell. Luckily, they had space for walk ins, so we chose a table at the front, right by the windows. Our server was very good, friendly and attentive, (sorry that I don't remember her name.) I had the smoked brisket mac and cheese, and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It was very filling, I had to take half in a doggie bag. My husband had the Seared Scallop, Blue Crab, & Pancetta Pappardelle. He said it was very enjoyable and he had none left over. I would definitely try this restaurant again on a future trip to/through Greenville. I wanted to try a dessert but was stuffed! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is the noise level, though in an old building like theirs, it might take lots of artwork, tapestries and things on the wall to improve the acoustics. I'm not sure that's a viable option.
Although a little loud, the atmosphere was nice and the server was friendly and attentive. The menu was on the slim side, being only a single sheet of paper with a few selections for each category (appetizers, entree's, etc.). For the entree's, there were 5 selections to choose from, one which was a "round" of whiskey for the kitchen staff????? Because of the slim selection, it took a little while for us to figure out what we might like, but eventually decided on a salad and burger with fries. Both ended up being good choices, and the fries that came with the burger were really good. I doubt that we will return, but maybe if they add a better selection we will give it another try.
Food not that good
We had a fabulous dinner here during ECU Parent Weekend. The restaurant was well prepared for the crowds. Service was fantastic - our server was very professional, kept us in drinks, and best of all, was quite knowledgeable of the menu when it came time for us to decide for our gluten free kiddo what was safe for him. Food came out quickly and was very fresh. Three of us had the brisket mac and cheese, and my husband said it was one of the the best briskets he'd ever had. I had the bahn mi lettuce wraps, and I so enjoyed those. We will definitely be back!

Food not that good
My husband and I arrived in Greenvill, NC. Not knowing where to eat after driving 9 hours we looked on Trip Advisor and came across this restaurant/Pub. We were very pleased with the service starting with the friendly hostess to our waiter who to our surprise and disbelief was from our town in Long Island, NY. Luke was friendly and attentive. We were not rushed and felt very comfortable. Food was excellent. Definetly would reccomend to anyone visiting.
I'M JUST A VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED CUSTOMER ❤❤❤❤??
I kept searching for places like this since I got to town a week ago. It just randomly popped up in my search browser today. Oyster Happy Hour is a plus and I had the seared scallops..... they were slammin’. Staff is super friendly, helpful and attentive. I’ll be back!
Very enjoyable menu and great staff. Live music was enjoyable. A little loud, which made conversation a little difficult, but also added energy and fun to the experience.
