Not a bad experience at all. Service was outstanding. The food wasn’t high level chef type. It was home style cooking. It reminds you of momma cooking up something early Saturday morning. Nothing fancy but really good

Waited a while to be seated. I asked for a booth just for myself and was told by the server that they wanted to save the booths for bigger parties, so she sat me at a small table. About 10 minutes later two people walk in to be seated and she gives them the booth. I waited about 10 minutes and still was not served at my table. I will not be going back.

My wife and I waited in line for 15 minutes before a staff walked up to us about a table....also there were 3 couples in front of us who had been waiting for an extended period and left because no one acknowledged them. I think some customer service is needed.

I want to love this place! They have so much potential. Relatively reasonable prices. Good food. Service is hit or miss. I really wish they would update the menu a bit. Or have a special just something to change it up a bit.

Very slow service. The food was average at best. The waitress never refilled my coffee. Very disappointed.

The Egg Yolk Cafe have a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent ? service. Ms. Shirley, and another young lady waited on our table, and they were awesome- they were very pleasant, kind, accommodating, and courteous!I ordered the Blueberry Hill pancakes with grits and eggs...The pancakes were okay; unfortunately the one on the bottom was burnt and I could taste the burnt flavor - the eggs and grits were good. This establishment is pleasant... We had a chance to sit by the fireplace, which was nice and warm, and it added coziness to the atmosphere. It's a nice size place but I see that the place gets busy around 8:30 am, and fills up fast. It's a decent size parking lot, and plenty of space to park.

When we arrived, as a party of 2, we were front of line on the waitlist. The diner has almost zero waiting space( about 3 chairs and enough room for about 6 people comfortably). Over the course of that time, atleast 10 other people arrived to be put on the waitlist after my party, and half had not even been put on the waitlist. We waited over 30 minutes for a table with atleast 3 open tables available.

Less than 15 minutes and my food is cold! Brought muffin without butter! Waited for the butter now the muffin is cold! Paying $13.50 for 2 eggs oven baked bacon (WTH!) and a small portions of home fries. Insulting and poor pricing for this small breakfast! I get better and cheaper at Waffle House. Looks like I’m sticking with them!
