I really wanted to like this place . I was excited that a new spot had opened near us but I was disappointed 2x. The first time we went it was during the first month they had opened so we figured they still needed to train the staff and tweak somethings. So we gave them another chance recently again but it was disappointing. The food tasted good but it wasn’t worth the price. The food is pricey and it takes them an hour to get it out. The drinks are price and don’t even feel like they have any alcohol. The margaritas were disappointing and I usually order more than one anywhere I go. The waitress brought the drinks out at different times and even forgot a drink until we reminded her but then gave her the wrong drink. One of the appetizers were brought out 30 minutes later and she even forgot about the other one. I’m sorry but I will not be returning again.

This was our first time here. The food was delicious. The portions are large, and the food is fresh, not frozen. It is definitely worth the price! We will return.

This was our first visit to “the other” Dominican restaurant in Greenville. It’s just remarkable that our town has grown to the size to be able to support two first class restaurants of this type.We were impressed by the service and the menu offerings.Nellie, our server is related to the owners and made the experience as welcoming and as pleasant as we could have ever imagined. Great job!The libations and the food items were beautifully prepared and served. We would recommend the Caribena Margarita, the Tropical Mojito, the ceviche mixto, the mahi mani and the “whole fish” red snapper. Delicious! It’s clearly worth a return visit and will now become an additional choice for us when we are in the mood for some very good food!Parking: No problem at all.

We went to there first latin night, i got two margaritas and they included 20% gratuity without asking. The same thing happened to our friends. Than i proceeded to get two beers with cash and they charged me 15 dollars with taxes. It was definitely not a good first impression. Its greenville not raleigh or

We get patted down unnecessarily as if were entering through TSA at the airport, but I let that part go. Mind you no bar in Greenville does this. We show our IDs a second time (?) inside and the lady gives us our wristbands. After a solid 45 mins to an hour, two guys in our group (white) get pulled aside by the owner, who has a massive scowl on his face. He told them off about their attire because they were wearing shorts on the dance floor. This wouldn't be a problem, aside from the fact that a dress code isn't listed anywhere on their website and we got through two rounds of being checked by the door. No one said anything there, then this joker decides to come kick them out just like that. One girl in our group, who was Hispanic, decided to come talk to the owner while this incident was ongoing - and his demeanor magically changed to a "oh it is ok, you can come back later still." If these two guys weren't white (and I am not white myself saying this), I can almost guarantee we wouldn't have had this issue. So to the owner/manager - good job buddy, you lost 7 customers. Learn to run a business.

Ordered mid-rare ribeye. ($37) Was very well-done to the point of being non-edible. The side of vegetables consisted of a toddlers handful of nearly raw carrots, broccoli and red pepper and the trifongo tasted like a dry butthole. Try it and you will know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Owner gave us a 20% discount on the meal and a $25 gift card to use "next time but not this time". As if we'll be back. Hovered over our table the entire rest of the evening. Creepy AF. No thanks. Puff puff PASS. Gift card will go to the homeless. Waiter Loren was absolutely amazing tho. I truly feel bad for him. Drinks were fantastic-great job to the bartender.

The restaurant is clean, the employees are really friendly, and the food and drinks are good. The price is a little high. The calamari was $18, there was not a lot of it, and it was served with shredded carrots and lettuce. The trifongo skirt steak ($28) was really good. I don't mind paying a higher price for a specialty like mofongo. However, there was not a lot of steak and again with a little shredded carrots salad but with tomato added to it.Something else besides the little shredded carrot salad would be nice. You're really trying to get me to eat some carrots!
