A few weekends ago, my fiancé and I were in Greenville so I could get tattooed and called in an order to walk and pick up. My fiancés pizza got messed up and the chef alerted us shortly after we arrived to pick it up, ensuring us he had another one getting made. With the next pizza, he “messed up” because he forgot a topping.. which was not a big deal at all to my fiancé.. but the chef fired up another pizza and gave him the new one, free. This restaurant seems to really care not only about the quality of their food, but their customers and it shows. We will be back next time we’re in the area for the tattoo because my fiancé raved on and on about how delicious the food was.

best neapolitan style pizza out there! luna pizza is so good the pizza tastes super fresh and filling and everyone who works there is so nice. the environment is so welcoming and comforting. it’s such a cute spot downtown and definitely one of my favorites in greenville.

The pizza was amazing! Our server was very kind. I also like that they have a booster seat that straps to the actual chair, much safer for our toddler!
My husband and I are from NYC/NJ and we were absolutely blown away by the pizza here. We had extremely low expectations for Italian food in North Carolina since we are from the pizza capital of the world. But we saw pictures of the pizza online, and thought we’d check it out for ourselves. The owner actually stayed to Italy for awhile to learn how to make this incredible Neapolitan pizza which is why it’s so good. When we asked for some Parmesan cheese for the pizza, we received actual shredded Parmesan from the block, not that grated powder garbage that most restaurants give. Kathy was our waitress and fellow New Yorker. We loved her spunk and personality. We will definitely be returning.

This was our second time to Luna Pizza and everything was absolutely great! We had kind of a big group for 2 special birthday girls. We had the Fire Roasted Mushrooms, Pizza Bones, Involtini and the Meatballs for appetizers. We devoured them all! Finished up with a couple of pizzas (Margherita & Pizza Rosso - both were delicious) and an eggplant dish. The bartender, Sarah, was also our server. She served the food hot and the drinks were amazing! Do yourself a favor and try her Watermelon Mojito! I hear it’s pretty good! Definitely thumbs up 👍🏻

After a previously unsatisfying visit, I decided to give this restaurant another chance, and I’m so glad to say that they did not disappoint this time around. We started with the house-made meatballs, which came in a flavorful marinara that was very rich in flavor. For mains, we ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza along with the margherita, and both arrived hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings. The desserts were unforgettable. The s’mores panna cotta was smooth and sweet, the cannolis were crisp with plenty of chocolate chips, and the Strisce Di Pizza Frite (fried balls of dough covered in sugar), served with the cutest little jar of Nutella, was my favorite of the night. Our waitress was attentive and kind, always keeping our table stocked and checking in at the right times. The owner also personally made sure our experience was positive. He addressed the previous issues we had, fixed them, and took accountability, which shows how much he cares about his customers and business and that is so important to me. I left feeling extremely pleased and grateful, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.
