We eat here fairly often because the other Mi Cabanas are terrible or hit or miss. Tonight started out ok until my food came out. I ordered ACP, and when I got it, it was just chicken and rice with a little watered-down cheese. I said something to my waitress, who responded with: If you want more cheese, I'll have to charge you full price for a bowl of queso. So my dinner consisted of dried out rice and chicken. When I complained, all I got was: Sorry. When I said my food was bad, a young kid in a red shirt actually laughed while the big waitress with glasses just sat there. We definitely are disappointed. This Mi Cabana was the last good one, but apparently, they've turned into the other ones with bad customer service and food.

Had lunch today and were very happy with the lunch menu selection and prices. Lots of choices and we enjoyed our selections, the Chili Relleno and the La Cabaña Burrito. The service is very friendly and staff is attentive. Looking forward to enjoying dinner there soon.

Awful experience. Came for a late lunch today, took one bite of my taco and a big long hair is in my mouth. Since my waitress never checked on me I had to flag down another employee and show her the hair in my food. They remake my meal and I ask for a togo box since I no longer have an appetite. Looking for my waitress who AGAIN did not check on me when I needed a fork and napkins... found her sitting down in a booth behind me. To make matters worse the meal was not even taken off my bill but discounted. Whoever runs this place should retrain their employees to give the correct steps of service because as a waitress myself, this was an appalling experience and no one should pay for food contaminated with hair. In fact I shouldn't have paid for a thing considering the awful service. She didn't even know the difference between a flour and corn tortilla. Will not be returning.

I retired a few years ago, and these days, I seldom come into town for a meal, but recently joined friends for dinner here, because it was a place I ate at for lunch periodically when I worked in town.
The place was as good as I remember. While the night crowd on a Friday evening was surprisingly small and quiet, I did notice that they did a very strong takeout business, and that probably reflects the quality of the food: it's still really good, the portions are generous, and the price is right. The staff was also courteous, friendly without being overbearing, and attentive.
I frankly don't know how authentic the Mexican food is; I suspect that in the United States we don't actually get authentic anything, as most restaurants cater to our food preferences, and Mexico is a large country with varying regional cooking styles. But the food quality is good. Between the three of us, we ate fajitas, an excellent chorizo queso dip, chicken enchiladas, and tacos. They make a really good burrito and have several excellent specialty dishes like sincronizada and arroz con pollo, along with the usual suspects in Mexican cuisine and a good combination plate.
It's well worth the visit.

It's my quick family go to. Not the best in town but it's close to the crib and I know exactly what to expect, The service is always pretty good for my crew.

Uhm...the chips were stale to start off. The food got out there fast and the waitress was great but the quality of the food overall was pretty poor, especially considering the price being $40 for two people...
